I have been here 5 times. They specialize in tortillas and meat. Salsa is available at the register, and I have not decoded when the "pico de gallo" salsa is available as sometimes they dont have it. This lead me to try some of their other salsa offerings, and im glad I did. The red sauce is ancho chilli I think, and the green is made from tomatillo. Both are spicy and packed with flavor. I picked up a baggie of sliced limes and a whole avocado from the register as well on the way to a picnic in the park. Combine that with the soda and beer available in the many coolers and you have all of the fixins for a latin meal. English is understood fairly well, but you most likely will be the only native speaker. Pointing and giving weights is almost universal. I have had only one problem with communication, I was given the wrong kind of cheese. I have since learned that the name of the cheese I like is "queso fresco" that is the fresh crumbling cheese, similar to feta. They swapped it out, no problem. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a GREAT take out, make your own taco experience.

Fantastic spot. If you dont speak Spanish, have no fear- the goods are all laid out behind the counter and ordering is a breeze! Tortillas are only $1/pound and the meat is fresh and perfectly seasoned. They have homemade salsa and freshly chopped cilantro, onions, limes, and other fixins at the register, so Las Lupitas can easily accommodate your one-stop meal shopping needs.

very cheap and fresh tortillas. great taste on the carnitas. also ,you cannot build the best combination without their off the chain home made salsa verde! i wish they can offer smaller portion of the salsa. i never finish the sauce every time. such a waste
