I went to this AutoZone on November 3, 2014 for a new battery. AutoZone offers to change your battery for you so I opted to let them do it. After waiting over 20 minutes because the employee who was helping me had to go back in because the line was too long (meanwhile the manager on duty was right there working on his own car, too busy to help), the employee finally came out. He took about 10 minutes to swap the old battery out and put the new one in, and when he connected the terminals, the car started making a loud noise. He left the wire connected for a while, and disconnected and reconnected it a few times, but the noise continued. The inside of the car (my radio) started smoking, and then I realized he switched the terminals on the battery. None of my windows, door panels, seats, radio, or anything worked, and my cars suspension was messed up. They couldnt help with anything, since I had to take it to "their mechanic" another day. I had to get a ride home. I then went to their "mechanic" who worked down the street and did not know what he was doing. I had to go down and check some of the fuses that he missed. After about an hour, I was finally able to drive off (but my radio was fried). Now, AutoZone is refusing to cover the radio damage, and my car has other issues that they will not work on. For example, Ive gone through 2 new batteries since the incidentm (I installed the second one myself in 3 minutes, with nothing but a set of pliers...), because something they did is causing these batteries to discharge when sitting. Ive tried contacting the district manager but keep getting the run around. AVOID this place.

Dont allow a incompetent confident felon work on your car. Two words ( Hostile spics ) that act friendly only as you enter this store. This company makes false advertisement hiring morons and idiots who are causing this company allot of "liabilities", no one is Certified by ASE to legally perform any work on you vehicle. Ask to see a certificate. Master Engineer Automotive engineering. Follow me on google+ and know where to buy and where to keep away from or illiterate humans will destroy your investment. To joshua, your computer may be damaged when a battery is replaced, the computer needs to be configured this is why I use a battery back up during a battery replacement, to save fuel trim and computer settings, I dont just unconsciously disconnect batteries without proper procedure. Switching terminals burns out the oxygen sensors, coolant sensors, idle speed sensor, fry your computer and radio, cost of repair ??????? 5,000.00 Do not go to DAS TRUCK AND AUTO EITHER, SAME ENTRAPMENT.

As of tonight approx. 7pm 2/20/14 Diego is correct Would you like to be intimidated by this stores employees ? Tonight my wife and I were acosted by this stores subordinate "Manny"in the parking lot, when nicely asked to steer his car a little to his right,@ the entrance you see above, he became disgruntled, stepped out of his car and actually attempted to intimidate us. This is what you get for your Loyalty. We were indeed proud when this store opened, now after bringing our hard earned currency, we will never bring not only friends and our family here ever again, but we surely will not bring my daughter in the back seat here again. My daughter said "daddy, hes getting out of his car, Im scared, I do suppose Manny could not see my passengers in the back seat with a webcam on my dashboard. I certify this message.

News update, Diego slanders AutoZone. Yes slander, he must be an employee of the desperate DAS auto. We all know, long lines mean excellent service, this is why we wait. Yes we all know even for modern day vehicles you can at your own choice can be offered copper sparkplugs. If you want iridiam, which is a manufacturers recommendation, because as a mechanic, I can also install platinum. Iridium, platinum, copper are metal elements thats it. Iridium which came to earth by way of asteroids., like the rest of precious metals like gold. Know why DAS has no lines? Who drives there. On any givin day they have one customer...lolololol

Only buy what you know you need, dont inquire with blatent morons who are not at all educated in machinery, engines, cooling systems, brake systems, ignition systems, these idiots aquire your trust leaving you with 2,000.00 worth of sensor replacement, fried electrical systems. Be wary of where you ask for info. These are not automotive engineers, they are hired off the street to surmise and cash out, apply for work today and investigate the real true nature, fraud, and liabilities

Would come here often until I got a newer car and my visits came less. Then, recently I come to see if theres a harness for replacing my stereo. A lady there did not listen to what I was saying. I thought maybe Im mixing terminology. She repeatedly said go to a professional but Ive done this twice. Later she didnt know a Saturn was a GM... I asked another worker and while rude he came outside. I thanked them. Left and she yelled "okay then"

Went here because I had a headlight go out, normally Id do it myself but with sunrise and sunset happening while at work I didnt want to drive home with one headlight or my brights on. I paid for the headlights and a worker named Jay installed them in about 10 minutes even though he had to reach through the wheel well to reach the back of the headlights. Jay made my day, he is the type of worker every Autozone should have.

Always long lines. Cashiers dont give a crap, I could do a better job and I actually know about cars, There is only one person there who knows what hes doing the others dont. They push products that they no nothing about, for example I was almost given copper spark plugs, when the OEM is iridium. Like really, then the girl tried to tell me thats the OEM, I think not!

Sold me brakes that were mismatched once i got home and my car jacked up. Called them to see if they had a correct set. I told him what happened. The guy put me on hold immediately without asking if i could wait. 7 minutes later he never came back to the phone. Unorganized and unprofessional. Bunch of losers.

50/50 chance you get sent home with the wrong part or they send you home with the part but dont tell you it doesnt come with another needed part like a needed gasket. Combine that with line wait times to cash out or get a part soo much easier and cheaper to order online from other vendors.

Asked to get my battery check guy didnt even look at me he said pop the hood and stand by the car didnt give me an estimation of time I stood outside for 25 mins before just deciding to leave .. worse autozone go to rock auto or das down the street

They will check your engine light for free - not all advice is super valuable but it is awesome to have them be able to check for simple things. They are very helpful with many simple installations as well like lightbulbs and batteries.
