Horrible service. The ladies in the front gave me a nasty attitude, the dress was broken...if we wanted it to get it fixed it would be extra...it was already broken...got the dress anyway and one of the ladies said they could take off the sales tax but charged me for it as well. Came back to get my dress fixed and they said it was free bc they charged me sales tax. but then it ended up being an additional 88 dollars. Front desk messed up my appointment because the semstress took the dress home so it wasnt in the store...i had come back on a differnt day. Adter fonally getting it done it was 88 dollars. I was not informed that every little stictch costed so much. She literally cut the dress and make a few stitches. I asked the girls if they could give me a discount since they messed up on the appointment and she literally bitched at me and blamed me for it, saying how it was my fault that i didnt pick the right day...so pretty much got blamed for what someone else messed up and paid over $650 for broken dress that would cost me to fix and 3 alteration. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I SUGGEST GOING ELSE WHERE!

First my Daughter and I called to see if you need an appointment they said no you can come in and look, I said great. We got there and they took information handed us a clipboard and 6 colored yellow wristbands. The bands are used to pick what dresses you like and they go and collect the dresses and put them by a dressing room. Well they collected 3 of the 6! I walked around the store to see where the other 3 were and there were NO YELLOW BANDS TO BE FOUND!!! I know that one of the dresses that she put a band on was toward the back. I asked the girl that WAS helping us where there dresses were and her reply was I dont know REALLY??? ALSO SHE WAS SPEAKING WITH SOMEONE ELSE!!!! The 2 girls in the front one was speaking with her friend when she came in. I also heard another customer say they are overpriced and I have to agree.

If I was able to Id give this place no stars. I made an appointment with my friend specifically so We would get help while dress shopping for our senior prom. When I got there I informed the girl behind the desk that I had an appointment for us and right away she gave me a nasty look. Then when we started looking around for dresses with their stupid colored wrist bands, and I kid you not, we ended up waiting around for at least 30 minutes to have the dresses put in a dressing room. I recieved no assistance and neither did my friend, but this other girl had her mother and 3 workers helping her try on a dress after alterations. It wasnt even hard to get into, it was a two piece dress. So disappointed in this place, heard great stuff about them but in reality this place sucks so much. Dress selection wasnt even that good.

I was a loyal customer there, and the first time that I went to return something the people there were aweful!! I never had returned anything before and they gave me the hardest time. For one it already is only store credit and you only have 14 days, but on top of that they found any little thing to not return it. Not only that but they were extremely rude and mean about it as well. They may seem nice when youre spending your money, but when it comes to getting any service after that forget it. I was fine with the credit and would gladly have shopped there again and found something else I liked, but now i will never shop there again after the service i received. They lost a lot of future sales over one return!!!!!

My mom and I came to Flair today after looking for dresses everywhere! We are originally from Queens so we went shopping all over the city and no place compared to Flair. My mom finally found a dress here today and absolutely loved it!!!! In fact instead of just one (which is surprising that she liked) she found 4-5 to choose from. The owner (I cant spell her name) was also such a big help and dedicated all her time to helping my mom find something she felt so comfortable in and looked great. She even altered it! Really overall incredible boutique. Great selection, great shop, great size. Would come here time and time again. Thank you guys!

Same thing with the returning issue as a previous reviewer. They were nice in the beginning, not so nice when I tried to return a dress. "Rude" is not enough to describe their attitude. They did have decent dresses, I have to give them that. Its extremely unreasonable, though, that they have such a stringent and unyielding return policy while other prom dress stores allow returns without question. Ive had friends who returned their dresses months after initially purchasing them from other stores. If youre looking for a dress, look at Flairs and any other store that has a no-return policy last.

We ordered my senior prom dress from Sherrie Hill back in December of 2012. Five months later, it still was not in! I panicked big time. Maureen let me pick out a back up dress to use in case it didnt come in time. She called Sherrie Hill practically every day to try and get a ship date. She reassured us that it would come in time...and it did. It finally came in June 4th. I had my first fitting that very day. She was very accommodating, and you could tell she was trying very hard to please you and every customer. She genuinely wants everyone to walk out happy.

Came in on a rainy Tuesday looking for a Prom dress. Manger was at desk, greeted us and pointed us to the right section. We picked out about 20 dresses and brought them to fitting room. Sue helped us with each dress and was very patient! Sue was very patient and helpful with my teenage daughter! I have been to many places for dresses by far MOST friendly! Didnt rush us or mind that she tried on dresses 10x. Let us take pictures and offered different dresses. Thank you for making this experience wonderful Sue!

Great dresses, but find someone else to do alterations. Owner is never available and staff says "they dont know if she can call me back". First fitting after alterations, the dress was ill fitting and too tight. They fired seamstress. Now my party is 8 days away, dress still needs a hem and the dress is still not done. The seamstress "brought it home and shes not back until Tuesday". It was supposed to be ready for pick up 8 days ago. So far, owner hasnt returned my call!! Bad, bad customer service.

I hated it here and I will not be going back. The two girls were not helpful at all and told me to put my "colored bands" on the dresses I wanted and they will bring me to a room however they did not bring any of them to a room and all the dresses I marked miraculously disappeared, and when I went looking forward and began pulling dresses myself I was yelled at. My friends and I waited to be helped while the girls say behind the counter and were rude when we asked for help. I will not go back.
