Great deals, good variety, and really friendly staff. They will sign you up for a ShopRite card if you dont have one, so you can save a little on each order. Location is a big draw - right on Central Ave on the border of Greenburgh and Yonkers, so it gets busy during the day on weekends. Biggest drawback is that there never seem to be enough people on duty when the store is busiest, making a shopping trip that should take 10 minutes closer to an hour. The store could introduce self-check out for smaller item bags, or prevent bottlenecking by having check out in different places. The cold cuts line does seem to take a long time, and there is never more than one person working it during peak times.

Decent but very wide entry on far end and exit near middle. Too long of a walk from entry to milk and then exit. Cover like a mile just doing that. Food and prices are good but not great. Also, when express lanes are empty and you have one or two items over their maximum, the cashiers tell you "you have too much" you can not get on this line, even though they are not busy at all and nobody is on their line. Either they lack common sense and dont want to work or their managers lack common sense and yell at them when they do take people with a little more than the max. Had 17 items in a 15 item line and cashier gave me grief about it !!!

I came to this ShopRite instead of the one on Tuckahoe Ave. BEST EXPERIENCE! Maybe it was the time but in the ShopRite on Tuckahoe, all of the cashiers are always chatting with each other and hardly paying attention to the customer. Most of the things are not stocked and most of the employees will actually say out loud when they are tired of working or annoyed. This ShopRite was a completely opposite experience. The cashier was completely focused on me and helped me with everything. Everything was stocked and organized. Thank you for the great experience!

This Shop Rite has the worst layout of any supermarket Ive ever been in. There is a ramp in the middle of the store and the items are shelved in inconvenient locations. They have regular milk in one area of the store and Lactaid and Soy Milk all the way at the other end. There is no sense in the way the food is stocked. If you feel like taking a walk that is the place to go - you can walk endlessly around and around and become as senseless as the location of the merchandise. Much better to go to Thornwood, or even Yonkers.

I do most of my shopping at shop rite supermarket and some shopping at pathmark, I have one complaint about shoprite their Purdue chicken smells very bad and some have past due date on them, every time I try to buy Perdue chicken it has a very bad odor and blue and black discoloration, I have complaint to the managers few times with no avail and the workers at the meat department in the past year or so but the problem still persists. I instead will buy another brand elsewhere.

This was a linen and things before it is a supermarket, with that being answered, ask for posted sale of american cheese 4.99 lb and receive 21.99 for same cheese and customer service wants to only return 5.00 of the 21.99 never again, when was the last time any of you agreed to pay 21.99 for a pound of yellow american? As a deli manager I never heard of this costing 21.99 per pound. And facial hair is forbidden in the food industry by the board of health.

This place is horrible! The cashiers are rude and disrespectful. They act like this communities money isnt making their checks. 1 star is too much for this place. I refuse to give this company anymore money. You not only need to clean up the store you need to get your workers to clean up their act. I work as a medical professional and I never treat my clients the way these people treat paying customers.

Absolutely terrible waited on the "fast lane" cause I have a 15 min break that took 10 minutes then I finally get to the cashier were an employee cut the line and the cashier says he was here waiting when clearly he didnt wait the 10 minutes I did. This is absolutely horrible so I will go back to work now with no lunch thanks to the incossiderate cashier.

Service is the worst. If you need help in the dairy aisle and theres no one around you have to walk all the way back to the customer service desk. Be sure to check expiration dates because often their inventory is close to expiration date and sometimes has already expired.

Great super market. Usually clean and spotless. But sometime it is not (Usually 2 hours before closing). We have been shopping here for years, and planning to so so for many more. It is easy to park here, and the the cashiers usually speed things up.

I live right near this shoprite, so it is my go to store, but I have to shop in the evening to avoid the long lines and find a parking spot. Weekly specials are good, but there are always long lines, which is frustrating.

This is one of the bigger stores but the layout can be a little confusing because its been expanded over time. Parking is ample.

The dairy dept in this store is always empty. Thank God for the Meat dept. Always a long wait at the register.
