I went to Repertoire to purchase a pair of tights for my daughter. She was performing for the school play in Eastchester. I asked for "nude" colored tights but told the owner of repertoire I was unsure if that was the right color. The owner said I could return the tights if the color was wrong. I did have to return the tights. When I returned them, I was informed by the owner that I could only receive a store credit!!!! I pointed out to the owner that I had a discussion with her and she never mentioned store credit. She did not care. That is poor service and business conduct. She made a $17 sale on me but will never see me again. Be careful of business owners with this mindset!

Ive been to this store several times over the past few years, and theyve always been professional and helpful. Erica did a great job fitting my daughter for pointe shoes, and let us know that the particular shoes she got can be hard to find so we should be sure to order ahead. They do get a bit busy, because theyre a small, independently owned shop. We live in Rockland, and its worth going over the bridge. (Be sure to put enough money in the meter)

They are quite knowledgeable about the products that they sell and make informed suggestions based upon ones dance needs. They also offer to record your purchases so that it easier to buy replacements or similar items without having to remember the details and sizes. They can get quite busy around spring recitals so be sure to plan accordingly. Street parking is pretty convenient, just remember your quarters.

I called them this morning and asked about a top for my daughter. Not only were they incredibly nice on the phone but when I arrived they had pulled out five or six selections for us to look at! Why would anyone ever want to drive to New York City or shop online when this store is so close by?
