Weve been coming here for years. The Mandel Brot is amazing. We recently started to visit on First Fridays in Saugerties. The town is busy with lots of things going on and HVDC doesnt disappoint. They had cider donuts last night which were the best Ive ever had and cider drinks. We save HVDC as our last stop on FF to take a seat, have a coffee and cookie. The selection is amazing. The products are beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. Cant go wrong.

The best baked goods anywhere. No matter what you get you will not be disappointed -- whether its the famous biscotti (known as the best biscotti around) or the New York Times-reviewed granola or a delicious loaf of bread or even soup or a sandwich. Absolutely fabulous!

Best pies, quiche, cookies...I can go on. I get a double egg and asiago sandwich for breakfast most mornings, with fresh brewed Monkey Joes coffee. Always delicious. And the staff is super friendly and accommodating. Great place for placing special orders!

An exciting day when we can stop by to scoop up some chicken pot pies; buttery flaky crust and loads of white meat chicken, with chunks of fresh vegetables; seconded only by their buttery apple turnovers. Better leave me some when you go there.

Good bread. Good cookies. Sticky Buns that contain a lifetime supply of caramel. They let dogs in. I changed my review from four to five stars because of the birthday cakes Ive ordered from them. One chocolate and one cream, and both heaven!

This is my favorite cafe. Everything is so delicious and I love sitting at the window seat looking out on Main Street. The staff is very friendly. I am so lucky because I live only a block away!
