I have to say I really love this place. The staff is so much more helpful than other larger stores. They always make sure to get you in and out as fast as possible. One thing Id like to point out is that they serve delicious Gabilas knishes. According to the Gabilas website they are the original Coney island knish and have sold over one billion knishes since 1921. RVC Associated has been serving these for as long as I can remember. RVC Associated has a large variety of freshly homemade salads. All of them are delicious in my experience. The basic macaroni salad is not homemade but it comes from the company Sally Sherman. While they might not be as good as homemade, Sally Sherman has been around since 1971 and supplies deli salads to many super markets in NY. However as far as macaroni salads go, Im quite partial to Associateds homemade southern Mac salad

Its really an amateurish supermarket. Its convenient but the selection is not good. The deli counter offers knishes that are awful. They obviously buy an off brand because they do not know what a real knish is suppose to taste like. Like what most people expect a kosher style knish.Their macaroni salad is also not good. Its pasty and has an odd taste. I called the store spoke with a Manager and she told me to call back and speak with the deli counter person. I had to remind her that as the store manager she should be letting this person know. This is just one small example of whats going on in our Country today. Very few own their jobs and expect customers to do all the work!

Great local supermarket, but relatively small. Good place to go to grab the necessities when needed to whip up a meal and you are missing an ingredient or two. Prices can be a bit higher than other local stores and selection isnt as great because its not a huge store, but the produce is fresh and they recently remodeled the store a bit with new cases for the produce aisle. The staff is quick, friendly and helpful and it is an easy and out.

I know some people think Associated is too expensive, but its superior to a lot of big supermarkets (e.g. King Kullen). Once you shop at Associated for a while and get used to all of the fresh produce, fresh bread, and everything, you will start to notice the inferiority of other grocery stores. Associated has EVERYTHING in a smaller space. I love Associated. And, I love the fact that it employs local kids instead of outsiders.

Associated is a true neighborhood supermarket. Doesnt have everything but has exactly what you need. Deli is better than the big ones and the staff is like your neighbor, and probably is. Wouldnt want any other supermarket in my neighborhood.
