Good value !! Best prices around but be careful...almost every time I buy NY wine from them it is old tasting and gross. Ive thrown away 4 bottles of wine at least and the cork is rotted and the wine was dumped down the sink. Not sure how long they keep product out... they have a lot of wine for sale that 3 brothers sold along time ago. Im disappointed in marketview because I really love them.. but Im unsure about purchasing from them as opposed to going to a winery. I just bought and literally dumped 4 bottles of wine down the sink. Including a bottle of ice wine that isnt cheap. Ill still return for liquor but Im unsure for my NY wine purchases. I usually spend about $100 every other week at marketview but Im dissatisfied that Ive gotten rotten wine latley. I still would reccomend this liquor store to a friend ..

Marketview has terrific selection. Plenty to choose from and reasonable prices. The store is setup nicely, and I love the expansive finger lakes and other sections with options other stores dont carry. Regular tastings are also nice. That said, some of the cashiers have incredibly poor customer service skills which bring down the otherwise very positive experience. Went in earlier and the woman who cashed me out was rather short, unpleasant and borderline rude. Ive had the displeasure of being cashed out by her in the past when buying a case of wine with the same impression. Ive been frequenting marketview for many years and would like to continue though will certainly stay away if forced to deal with Ms. Cranky pants every time.

Holly, She is a wonderful asset to this business. Im not a pretentious wine snob but like certain wines I only find in Italy. I was lost looking for certain areas and liquors and wines. Holly to the rescue. She went so far out of her way to help me out and make me feel good about it. Her expertise was superior to mine yet she was not condescending.. She not only helped me with the wine but also the Sherry I was looking for and the Madeira I wanted. Mr. Palmieri ... this is what makes you so successful your staff is Fabulous. I live right across the street from Lisas liquor barn and Its a wonderful place to shop at . But Your staff and your variety, will make me go out of my way to shop at your store again.

I was in the store Sat. Sept. 12, at 9:30 buying wine. When I left, the box handle broke and one of the bottles broke. This was my fault. I went back inside to let them know of the mess and they asked what kind of wine it was and replaced it. I said it was my fault and it didnt matter. A woman came out to clean up the mess and asked if she could clean the other 6 btls. of any glass residue. Then one of the guys came out and carried the box to my car. I recently had back surgery and I guess it showed. I want to thank all who came to my "rescue". You have some very nice employees who represented the store to the highest level. For high quality spirits, cordials, and other cocktail materials, Marketview is clearly the best in the Rochester area. Its hard to find something they dont carry, which cant be said for their competitors. My only small complaint is that I wish there was a slightly larger selection of bitters, such as Dr. Adam Elmegirabs Bokers, the full Bitter Truth line (especially Jerry Thomass Own Decanter!), and so on. Still, as the expanded world of bitters is a relatively new thing on the cocktail scene & nowhere else in the area carries a large selection of them either, its hard to hold this against what is otherwise the best liquor retailer in town. Oh - and their prices are good too!

I cant thank this company, especially Tom, who assisted me in purchasing wine for my daughters wedding favors. This particular wine was being discontinued and of course we were upset because we needed 100 bottles and no place was able to get it for us. A friend gave me this website and I immediately called and spoke with Tom. He assured me that he would do everything possible to provide me with it. Not only was he able to get me the 100 bottles but made it very easy to have it shipped to my home in Long Island. I highly recommend this company to everyone...they are extremely professional and very kind. Tom is an asset. Thank you, Thank you!

Absolutely easy to order online. Great selection and reasonable prices. Many tequila and moscato choices. Why only 3 stars? Because the women who answer the phones when you call for your pick up are absolutely miserable! I cringe when I have to call and let them know Im there to pick up my order. So I dont place as many orders with them and pay more elsewhere for the pleasant person at the front desk. Even when you cash out inside at Marketview Liquor, the women are never pleasant and never smile. Better attitude from them would bump this rating to 5 stars.

Ive come to this locations several times and made purchases using my wifes card, today I was extremely embarrassed because they denied me of using the card saying we dont know if its stolen. I totally understand how policy and procedures work, but I think that most of the staff should be retrained in that area because Ive used the same card on several occasions to make purchases. I ever purchase from any market view location again and will make sure no one else I know will either. There are a lot of cheaper places to shop anyway.

Cassie Im so sorry to hear about your experience at Marketview Liquor. I too am a shopper there and have nothing but a great time shopping at Marketview. I have experienced the same problem a few times, mostly with a California wine. Who knows how long a wine is on a delivery truck. I know for a fact that all you have to do is take the bottle back and you will get store credit. I have used my store credit to try different wines, and I am always happy. The store looks amazing and the staff is even better ! Hope this helps.

Service was always amazing until they hired the new people. There are three people there who are just plain rude. The worst is the little blonde girl. She embarrassed me by refusing me service due to my bank card having my maiden name, even though I showed her my old, expired ID that had my maiden name on it. I will not be returning to Marketview Liquor. I would rather spend more money elsewhere in Rochester, because friendly and intelligent store representatives is worth the extra $20 or $30.

Ordered some wine from here that I cannot get locally.... easy to use website and nice email notices BUT Fed-Ex shipper was terrible. No notice from Fed-Ex that package was to be delivered and we missed first attempt and I had to wait around all day Saturday or shipment would have been sent back ( Fed-Ex finally showed up at 4:30pm !) . Will probably order again from here but request different shipper, if possible.

This place is huge and has a great selection. Normally when other places dont have wine or liquor you will end up coming here to find it. They dont sell beer here. For example, mid August I came here with a roommate and she was saying "Oh I like this certain kind of rum but no places really have it". We ended up finding it pretty easily not actually expecting to find it.
