Im not the type of person to really leave reviews for places but this time around praise is due. I want to start of by saying thanks to the owner for staying open late and waiting for me. The store was supposed to close at 6pm. He waited until 6:30 for me and even took the time to put together my Sons new bike. I must say that the guy really knows his trade because it took less than half an hour to put the bike together and tune it. It was like watching an artist create his artwork in front of you. I found this spot on google along with other local stores in the area. I called the Rockville Centre Bike store and they guy quoted me $80.00 for the same service meanwhile I was charged $30.00 at Lynbrook Bicycles. It would be a safe bet to say that the service I would have gotten from the Rockville Centre Bike store would havent even compared to the service I received today. The guy even sized the seat and handle bars for my son while we were there. He even took the time to mention some bike riding safety tips to my son. When everything was said and done I thanked the owner for everything and mentioned on my way out that I would definitely leave him a google review. He smiled and gave me a thumbs up. Its hard to find a business like this nowadays. Im happy that such a place still exists and that there are still some genuine local business owners out there that provide excellent service and dont try to charge you and arm and a leg for something. You better believe that I will be returning to this store for all my Bicycle needs for years to come. Thanks you!

, this guy is nice , courteous, very fair in business , he is patient. hes is older guy i havent met a business owner like this in a long time. i see now why his buisness has survived the 27 years he told me he has been around. i bought a bike two days ago my gf bought one also. place is small Im not used to being in bike shops or know what type of selections they usually have . Im a big guy was looking for a big bike that can handle me. he had a couple choices and they actually was nice looking, i didnt have to settle for for something i didnt like . so he definitely has something for everyone i came back today to change some accessories i purchased and he worked with me to solve issue. as far as pricing he was on par with online prices. he will not steer you to something you dont want. but if you ask his opinion he will honestly give it. will be going to him again

Went here after visiting a few larger bicycle shops in the NYC metro area. At first glance, you may overlook the store since it is small and very hard to manuever in. The owner is super friendly... he does not try to sell anything to you, just tries to accomodate you however he can. He helped me and my boyfriend pick out 2 Diamondback Edgewood bicycles... and gave us a terrific deal that beat out stores like Dicks & Sports Authority. Not only did he give us a great price, he also changed out my bicycle handles, and offers LIFETIME maintenance! Cant beat that! So happy with my purchase! The bikes are AMAZING! Will be going back to this store and will send others.

Best prices, great service! The gentlemen who runs this store is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and answers all your questions, no matter how simple they may be. As other reviewers said yes the store is small and packed to the rafters with bikes, parts and accessories. I went here several times to price out bikes and accessories, and bought the Diamondback Wildwood Citi mens bike. Best part of this is that this gentlemen offers free life time maintenance, not a year like some of the competetion. If you are in the market for a bike, accessories or bike parts, Lynbrook Bicycles is the only place to go.

The shop is small, but carries a wide variety of different bicycles. The owner immediately stopped what he was doing when I got there and helped me to select a bike that would work for me (I have little knowledge of bikes). He took his time to answer all my questions and was very polite and helpful. He told me to come back anytime for maintenance free of charge, excluding only flat tires. The reason I chose to go to him was due to all the great reviews that he has and I have to say that they are all well earned. I would recommend this shop to anyone. You will not be disappointed.

Lynbrook Bicycles is serving the community for more than 30 years. The store sells brand new bicycles for all ages and gives free maintenance for any bike you buy . There is no limit for the service. The prices are very reasonable and affordable .There is no hidden charges and all repairs are very fast and done the same day. For a tune up you pay only $ 40.00. If you do not believe it try it. Lynbrook Bicycles is located at 224 Merrick Rd. Lynbrook since 1986 and has NO ANY ANOTHER LOCATION.

Quick and Cheap! Enough said. This store has exceptional prices for their services, as previously mentioned by several reviewers. It was due to the reviews Ive read, that I came here in the first place... so thank you all! He assembled an in the box bicycle that I received by mail - as well as tuned it up, of course (adjusting derailleur, brakes etc.) - for a very low fee. Furthermore, to my surprise, my bike was ready within one day! Thats right! Quick and cheap!

After going to several larger chain stores I was getting frustrated, I stop by this store and I must say it was the best, this guys was so cool. Was very helpful and I was not pressured to buy. Oh by the way I was able to take the bike for a spin in the back. Take that Mr. big chain store, we purchase two diamondbacks oh did I say this was on the 4th of July!!! ….. This guys been servicing the area for 25 years!!!!!! I hope he is there for 50 more …….

Its always a pleasure to step into this humble shop. I cant praise the owner enough; he is knowledgeable, fair, and abundantly helpful. You simply cannot beat his prices or service. He will never talk down to you or try to upsell you like other bike shops will, and hell often fix whatever you need right on the spot. Hes given me great advice on maintenance too. Ill never bring my bike anywhere else! This place is truly a local treasure.

This place is awesome!! I will never bring my bike to anyone else ever. The shopkeeper was nice, friendly, dedicated and offered cheap prices. I brought in an old peugot (spelling?) that needed lots of work. Two new tires, two new tubes, a clean-up and a tune up - all for $85. He also offered some extra advice and affixed a lock and chain apparatus to the bike for free. I am COMPLETELY satisfied with my experience.
