Called all over Astoria and LIC looking for a few specific wine labels from California, Ridge Vineyards & Broadside. They had Ridge in stock and although the price was a few bucks more they had excellent customer service. The only criticism I have is that their website doesnt give you any indication of what labels they carry and what is currently in stock. Wine savvy people are using the web to compare prices of wine these days and it would be nice to know what the store has in inventory and retail price prior to making a visit.

I come here all the time to purchase cheap wine, as it is just down the block from my condo. They have good and unique selections of wines around the world, the typical spirits and even have tastings every week. I usually pick up the 1.5L of cheap Casa del Toro and Stone Cellars and Yaegaki Sake all for about $10 each. Make sure you get a frequent punch card which after 10 purchases of bottles $10 or more you get a free bottle up to $13.

Very surprised by the some of the reviews here, been a customer for 3 years , I m french and I know my wines .. They are extremely friendly , if they run out of one of my fav they always recommend an alternative at the same price or lower. Service is friendly and they deliver .. Love this place , and just because most of them have a fashion sense .. does not make them hipster .. highly recommend them !!!

Great selection of wines in the 10$-15$ range, big variety of "house" wines, Thursday and Friday after work tastings, friendly staff. The manager is also a talented chef/sommelier so you can get excellent recommendations on what wine to buy to go with whatever youre making for dinner. Plus theyre 2 blocks from P.S.1, the 7/G trains, and undeservedly little known Sculpture Center on Purvis Street.

This place is okay. Their prices are a little high considering we are in Queens (even compared to some places in Manhattan), and sometimes the staff is not nice. The selection is fine. I used to go here until I started going to Blue Streak down by the water. Also, I once bought a $50 bottle of bourbon and they wouldnt stamp my wine bottle card since it wasnt wine. Seriously?

Great neighborhood boutique wine/liquor store! They have a very large wine selection and basic selection of liquors with a few special selections. Staff is always very helpful and theyre happy to see if they can get a special item in stock.
