SHADY BUSINESS! I brought my mother in here around 10:30, we were literally the only customers. She picked out a simple ivory cotton lace trim, the price tag on it was $2.99. Great! We ask for 4 1/2 yards and the lady decides to speak to the manager/owner and comes back telling us its the wrong sticker price and its now 4.99. Okay... but thats not our mistake, its been sitting there for how long with that price? They wouldnt honor the price because we wanted to purchase it and suddenly the price goes up? The lady who helped was friendly but for Management to suddenly change his mind and not honor the price which was clearly THEIR MISTAKE and not ours, is just plain wrong and absolutely ridiculous. Like I said, shady business. Never going back.

I dont know who this "Fantasia" person is talking about but its certainly not the same place I have been. The people were lovely, helpful and knowledgeable, But the fabrics were FABULOUS. I have looked for years - yes, years - to find a high end fabric store on LI, with no luck. I have asked the sewing machine repair people, the craft shops, even serious sewers I have met in J****s Fabric. None knew of any place other than going to the city, so I was thrilled when I found this place. BOTTOM LINE - clean and organized beautiful high end fabrics (a whole wall of silk!!!) fabulous prices easy to get to I love the place!!!

Looked up web site for location 8/26, drove from Queens 8/27, upon arrival note was on door closed for vacation. Never saw this on web site until I looked it up today - you must scroll ALL THE WAY to the bottom past the "site map" to see their notice of closed for vacation. Disappointed at not getting into store. Peeked inside doors and it looks like a fabric/notions candy store. Cant wait to get back someday. Web site should have posted vacation dates at top not at bottom. By the way vacation dates are 8/24 - 8/30.

This is by far the best fabric store on the Island! Whomever had negative reviews is out of their minds. Ive been going here for at least four years & I can tell you that every person Ive encountered who works here has been nothing but fabulous to me! Ive gotten wonderful answers to any questions Ive had. They are priced unbelievably well. Their stock is always full. I was just there last weekend & as always I had an amazing experience. I recommend Huntington Fabric Depot to people at least three times a week!

I went to the huntington fabric depot yesterday! It is the best around by far! high quality fabrics at great prices!! It is about a 45 minute drive from my home, and on long island thats a while in the car, but it was worth the trip! Helpful staff that will let you spend forever in their store helping you or just letting you browse!! Great place to stock up on everything for sewing needs!! two thumbs up!!

Fabulous! What a find for a sewer! Not only did they have a selection of every kind of fabric imaginable, they had every notion and sewing related item a sewer could possibly need. Its a small store but every square inch held merchandise. I havent done much home sewing in years because it is so difficult to find what you need. Huntington Fabric Depot may change that for me.

Since finding Huntington Fabric Depot, I no longer shop anywhere else. They have everything I need and more. Great prices! A stunning selection of fabrics and trims! Friendly and helpful customer service! What more could you ask for? I always look forward to coming in to see what new "treasures" I will find for my sewing projects.

I also dealt with a very distateful man in the store. He refused to let the only woman in the store help me and he was rude, and very unknowledgable about fabric, grain, sewing etc.. A REAL WASTE OF TIME! ILL NEVER GO BACK...

I have been purchasing fabric and notions at Fabric Depot for a few years now. They have very reasonable prices and are very friendly. The staff is super helpful and they always have what I am looking for.
