Rented a pressure washer for 24 hours to wash the siding on my house. Went to use it the next morning but the hose for soap water wasnt working. Called the store and they said they forgot to give me an attachment. They told me to come back in and they would give me the attachment and reset my time. When I went back in however, they not only refused to reset my time but didnt even have the attachment that was supposed to come with it to begin with. I told them I wanted a refund. The employee said absolutely not because Id had the tool overnight and "you could have washed the house...you just wouldnt be able to use the soap." Unbelievable. I was furious and demanded to speak with the manager. He called the manager who told him that she would split the difference and only charge me the 4-hour rental price. Once again I asked for the manager. He sent me to the customer service desk. After explaining everything there they called the same manager who came out 10 minutes later. She listened to my story then flatly told me thats why she was only charging me for 4 hours; that she could have rented the tool to other customers in the time I had it. Im sure I looked a little crazy as I raised my voice and told her that they rented me a tool without the part I needed in the first place! She shouted "FINE!" and walked away from me, using her hand to signal me to follow. As she walked by the tool rental kiosk she slammed the desk with her hand and yelled "VOID THE CONTRACT!" and continued walking. Not once in the entire experience was I offered an apology from anyone involved. Ill be taking my business elsewhere.

I would rate this store zero stars if I could. The employees are redic. All I wanted to do is get a key copied and it took over 15 minutes. I went to the counter to get my key copied and no one was there of course. There was two employees talking to each other off to the side and kept looking over at me while continuing on with their conversation. After 5 minutes of patiently waiting at the counter, I grabbed a floor person that was walking by to see if I could get service. The worker called it up on his walkie to assist me and of course no one came. Not bothering the two workers that where having a good time (assuming they where not on shift yet), I grabbed another worker for help. It turned out that one of the two employees that where talking was the key copier on shift. The kid finally came over to me with such an attitude like I was bothering him! This is the last straw with this place, Ill just take my business to Lowes.

Went to Greece location to purchase a Christmas Santa and sled that was on display. After searching for the item I asked for assistance after much discussion and four staff people later it was decided they DONT HAVE ONE! #1 Who displays merchandise that you dont have in stock ? After numerous attempts to reach the Irondequoit store it was confirmed they had the item and it would be at the service desk. I purchased the Santa at the Greece store and headed to Irondequoit. The girl at the service desk didnt have a clue what I was talking about, I was told the transaction was void, I said I have the receipt cant I just pickup MY PURCHASE and leave? NO! Returned to the Greece store AGAIN and got my refund ! ($110) Sorry Grandkids Ill give Daddy the money, as long as it doesnt include HOME DEPOT! You earn a minus *! Thanks for nothing! Wont be back for a llloonnngg time !

Purchased a used lawnmower with one year warranty. Used it twice and it stop working. I took it back to the store and the guy at the counter immediately had an attitude. I gave him the warranty ticket and he says "what is there something wrong with it?".... Really? Needless to say they were unable to fix it. Even though it was covered under warranty. Every possible version of what was wrong with it was my fault. Not the fact that it was a used model or that there was no manual with it. Bur lesson learned , never buy without a manual and never buy refurbished. Dont mind having to purchase a new one (not from them) Again lesson learned but im left with feeling like his attitude is really what was wrong. $63 later, I was invited to come take a look at new mowers to purchase.

This is the only store I have been to that refuses to take deliveries until appt time. I completely understand appt times but if a truck is sitting waiting to get unloaded from the previous night and his unload time isnt until 3 pm the following day, is it really that hard to have someone come out and unload it. You cant be successful in buisness with that state of mind. From the look of it and from what I hear while waiting to be unloaded is that the receivers here are lazy and the management of this store needs to be reevaluated. We are all out here to make money, why cut into a guys income to prove a point?? But as Ive always said..Im a strongly believe in karma. #theseidiotsareberniesupporters

Should you be a handicapped individual and have a problem with one of The Home Depots employees you can forget ever getting anyone to listen to your concerns or even address issues with anything more than a hang-up in your ear. My problem is with a Chuck Wilson who is a bully and a punk who gets his kicks picking on someone who is physically disadvantaged as compared to himself. I contacted Home Depot so they could not be bothered. So now I post this as a warning to others with physical handicaps like myself so they may avoid this bully. And because of Home Depots lack of concern will I never shop at this one store location ever again.

My husband and I decided to buy paint last minute tonight. Neither of us really had our mind made up as to which color we wanted to use for our living room. We are trying to get our home ready to go onto the market. Nick in the paint department was extremely knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to deal with. He went above and beyond to help us choose which brand of paint/primer. My husband and I both noticed how Nick takes pride in his job. He was straight forward and we didnt leave dissatisfied! We will definitely be going back for our future purchases! The Home Depot on West ridge road is from now on our first stop ! Thanks again Nick

The employees at this store have an incredible knack of bothering me with a "hello" or "hows it going" when you are walking purposefully (and obviously dont want to stop) however when you are bewildered and trying to locate a hard to find doohickey they will NEVER offer to help. Its as if they are paid to make a certain number of customer contacts and so they try to pick the customers that they know wont consume their time. Despite the crappy customer service it still gets two stars because they do have what I need, and the self-checkout is a nice feature.

Never order anything from home depot....the worst service and same order deliverd twice...damaged.....3 weeks for a custom$ 1200 shower kit and the secound was ordered through corporate office and sent to my home because customer service was rude....incompetent and couldnt find it for over an hour........now it arives with base busted in half....the shipping guy was laughing because they told him.."just deliver it "i will never order from this company agian.my client will probably never call me agian
