This supermarket is dirty. They recently put up new walls by the vegetables by the main entrance while the store was open. Problem with that is they were cutting wood 3 feet from the vegetables and didnt have them covered or anything. Just what people want with their foods saw dust. If the board of health saw them doing this the owners should be sued and put in jail. Next they installed plastic flaps on their doors. Not a bad idea but they seem to lack common sense. Ive seen people spit on it as they walked out. They put them up to keep the cold air out but neglect to understand that germs will spread because they never clean them. The only good thing they have that I like is a great staff, They are friendly and are willing to help you find what you are looking for. They do need to learn about properly stocking the shelfs. An example they stock 95% 7up and 5% Cherry 7up. If they run out of an item quicker then another they should put more on the shelf of that item and think more logically.

From Walbaums, Pathmark ( yup, Pathmark was here since they built Pathmark Pharmacy a few blocks down where Rite Aid is standing ) Associated Super market and now this, Key Food. Except this is a marketplace while the main street is called Key Food Fresh so I dont know the difference on these two. ( Im looking at my key chain discount cards ) The place is nice. Has more variety of mixed fruits in containers. Soy milk can be pretty pricey at times. I do hope theyll be on sale soon cause Im not a regular milk buyer. ( they dont last long for like 4 days ) All in all, its great. Compare to the jewish supermarket next door which have more variety but way pricier. So Ill stick to this one.

The products at this store are a bit pricey. I have been to this store about 6 or 7 times and every time that I go this store the staff is joking around and not paying attention to ringing up the customers. The staff members look like they are either high schools students or college students. The talk more than they work and the ones who are not working hang around the register goofing off. I remember not being able to find a product and asking for assistance, the staff member that helped me said that if it is not on the shelf then its probably not there. The staff is very unprofessional in comparison to the store on main street in flushing

Pricy, paid $9 for three chicken breast. Regret taking it... Sometimes they charge me more so I have to pay attention to what they charge me. I see a lot of Hispanic live in the area but never have some things that I am looking for. The guys in the produce area never help me find good yuca. There is no way I will bring yuca home without knowing if its good. Not going back there...

I went shopping there for about 2 hours and when it was time to paid, the merchant machines were not working and i have to leave all my food there. talk abut a wasted of valuable time. the manager said that she will call me when the problem is fix, but never got a phone call. this place is dirty, and it smell funny outside the place.

Have some manners when a customer buys your items, the cashier acts like shes disgusted by me, did not say a word to me, try to smile, Im doing you a favor when I buy your stuff so be grateful, she acts like shes doing me a favor, I would check my own items if i can than dealing with these rude people with altitude problems...

A new Key Food opened up here where the old supermarket used to be. This new supermarket is a HUGE improvement from the last one. They have a wonderful and fresh produce selection. The prices are fair and competitive.
