I loved Big Bucks! I visited Big Bucks Auto just a week ago. I had a great experience. Completely the opposite experience as the person who posted a negative comment on Feb 4, 2012. Both the sales person Ron and owner Buddy Evans could not have been nicer or more helpful. Also, when doing my homework beforehand, I learned that Kelley Blue Book is not reliable, as it does not take into account key factors like daily changes in the economy or the number of that same vehicle on the market at that time. Kelly Blue Book also makes money off of ads placed by the major auto manufacturers, which is a conflict of interest for a consumer report. I learned that reliable sources pull their info from national online auctions, which tell the actual prices people are paying for any type of car, and also info from the standard East Coast-specific pricing guide which provides real world numbers associated with a vehicle’s value. When I visited Big Bucks Auto, I felt I was in good hands because they also do not simply base vehicle values on “suggested retail values” but rather on the real value a particular vehicle has proven to have to other people on the actual market. My suggestion: Do your homework! I highly recommend Big Bucks Auto to anyone!

I recently sold my car as I no longer needed to drive to an office every day for my job. I have a very busy job that requires me to work a lot of hours, so dealing with putting up ads, answering phone calls and emails would have been a pain and I live in Manhattan, so setting up a test drive would have been a pain. Also, I was not getting another car, so going to a dealer was not going to happen either. Adding all of this up, I went to Big Bucks Auto. These guys buy cars pretty much on the spot from people and are not creepy used car salesmen. They were all friendly and professional and work quickly. They ran the history on my car, did a physical inspection, went on a test drive and put an offer together. BAM! That was fast. They handle all the paperwork, they will even pay off your loan and deal with bank / financing company hassle for you. The whole process took an hour or so. They are also a few blocks from an E & F train station, so after you sell your car, you can easily get home. Although they pay less than what you could get selling the car yourself on Craigslist or Ebay, it is way less hassle and if you are a very busy person, it is totally worth it.

So I call these guys up and they tell me my car is worth about 5-6 grand...and my car on Kelly Blue Book is around $11,000. I mean if they told me like 9 or 10 fine but 5 grand less, thats just absurd. Let me break it down very simple math. If they gave me $10k for the car, i would be happy, the next day they could sell my car easily for $14k because i done research on the same car and mileage. So thats $4K profit for them. Now if you gonna insult me with those prices you honestly think i wanna do business with you. Funny thing is I get a call from them like 1 year later saying are you still interested in selling your car, and I said of course but not to you. Its like a pawn shop they try to haggle you, especially if you desperate. Take your time when selling the car, dont fall into traps when they say offering cash and what not. There is always better offers out there. Little research never hurt anyone.

I was laid off from my job and not having any luck finding a position in my field for a few months. My bills were starting to get backed-up and I had already missed 2 car payments. I didnt want this to negatively affect my credit, so I called Big Bucks to find out what options might be available. They invited me to stop in for a free appraisal. I wasnt sure if they would be able to get me out of my loan, but I was hopeful. Ron & Buddy appraised my car and told me my options with Big Bucks. I sold my car a few weeks later and I was able to protect my credit, which was a huge relief! These guys were upfront and honest- thanks for helping out during a very stressful time in my life! Greatly appreciated.

I just got an email about this new mobile car buying service of theirs. So I thought Id give it a whirl - you know. Cuz Ive been thinking about selling my car any way. Sounded a bit too good to b tru - know what I mean? But gotta say - they did what they said. I filled out their form and they called me and then actually came to where I live in Bklyn and looked at my car and gave me a good estimate on it - 07 Camry. Dont get much easier than that - and super nice/professinal. Coolness!

If you have to sell a car then you totally need to check this place. I loved their client service, theyre very serious about their job and will do whatever they can to leave you satisfied. With my busy schedule I couldnt find time to visit them, and decided to try online car traders. On auto auction repokar I finally found what I needed, a good buyer that offered the best price possible.

Big Bucks Auto is the only place to sell your car. Yes, you could go through the trouble to sell it on craigslist, and deal with crazy people. But this takes time and effort. When I went to Big Bucks Auto, they gave me the best deal possible and money on the spot. It was easy. If you are trying to sell your car and dont want the hassle of selling it yourself, this is the place to go.

I had an old car. It was 13 years old and had the check engine light. They did not "laugh me off" - but looked at my car for what it was worth. A high mile car that basically ran well, but needed some work. They made me a fair offer, which was around 100 dollars more than some competitors did. I was happy. They are well run and honest. I would recommend them highly.

I bought my used suv from here, from the beginning it was all lies... There was a previous accident which they did not let me know and for some reason it was not in the carfax i had checked... I spent over $2300 to fix the car... I would never deal with these people again and would recommend anyone not to...

I recently sold my car to Big Bucks after moving back to NYC and the experience could not have been better. Buddy and his staff are pleasant, fair, and incredibly accommodating. I would recommend Big Bucks as the first stop if youre looking to sell a car.
