Ashley Furniture is absolutely horrible. They promised me one delivery date. This was after a 2 month waiting period. I then got a call a week before the due date saying it will be delayed for a month. I went in a week before the new due date to speak with the sales person I dealt with. He said they will make the date with no issues or delays at all. I now get a call today (delivery was due tomorrow) telling me my bedroom furniture will be delivered but the headboard will be delayed another 10 days. This is after making them deliver the mattress after the first delay and sleeping on the floor for a month because I sold all my old furniture. Their excuse for the delays was an outright lie. I worked in shipping and if they were hooked up to a lie detector it would be going off constantly. And they dont care at all. They are willing to cancel your order because they know they got you by the balls and really cannot go anywhere else. They also do not take American Express. They say its because AMEX charges them too much. Its really because AMEX will pull payment in a second once they start doing stuff like this. DO NOT buy anything from Ashley. Their customer service is horrible and once they have your money they dont care about your order.

I am hot happy at all!!! I ordered furniture the first week of March and my delivery date has been changed more than once. Now its not estimated to arrive till the first week of May. When I tried to get my money back they told me I would have to pay a 30 percent cancellation fee!!!! Are you kidding me????!!!! I have no choice but to continue waiting for my EXTREMMMMELY DELAYED order because I refuse to have them keep any portion of my hard earned money. next time I will pay more money at Raymour and Flanigan and have my furniture delivered in three days or less. I learned my lesson.I have ordered from Bobs Furniture in the past,their prices and furniture are great, and I had my furniture within a weeks period, but for some reason it took them FIVE visits to get my order right, and at the end they had to give me a 25 percent credit for their inconvenience. Of course Ashleys isnt.. My whole point??? Unless you want to wait two months for furniture,DONT INVEST YOUR HARD WORKING MONEY AT THIS PLACE, pay more money in raymours and have your furniture in less than a week, or pay less in Bobs Furniture but be prepared to have delivery issues, either the wrong pieces or severely damaged ones.

Worst experience EVER!!! We went to the showroom and picked out our sectional sofa. We needed the couch opposite of what we saw in the showroom (loves eat was on the left, we needed it on the right in order to fit our liviving room) the order was printed out and it was verbalized to us correctly "you will be getting this couch with love seat on the right and chaise lounge on the left" I said yes and signed the forms. Apparently, while it was verbalized correctly, the paperwork submitted to the warehouse to place the order was INCORRECT. The sofa was delivered with the wrong configuration and it took a week of me speaking to 4 different customer service representatives for them to fix it. Every time I called customer service the representative had no idea what I was talking about, no one left notes in the system, and no one called back when they said they would. I will NEVER buy from Ashley furniture again. Customer service representatives are incompetent and rude. I will gladly pay a little more at a competitors store and hopefully avoid another headache like this. AVOID ASHLEY FURNITURE IN FARMINGDALE AT ALL COSTS! save yourself the headache

No one has any clue whats going on and everyone tells a different story. Just wanted to order an extra night stand and no one mentions to tell me their store is moving and they wont get deliveries for 5+ weeks. Original salesman was very nice and knowledgeable, helped me so much. But when I just want something small shipped to the store everyone neglected to tell me they were getting no more shipments since they were moving locations. Pretty terrible customer service. Really? Am I going to wait 7 weeks for a night stand? And they wanted me to pay extra to ship to the house? Ya makes sense after all that? LOL -Was resolved they are shipping to my house but should not have to jump through these loops just to get an answer to my question.

Never buy anything from Ashley Furniture- save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. I ordered a fireplace in November and was told it was in stock.... it is now Febrary 10th and they are stating the product will not be ready to ship until the last week of February (I will believe it when it happens). It should not take 3 months for a paid for and "in stock" product to be delievered. The customer service was terrible- no one would give a straight answer and everyone I dealt with pointed fingers at fellow employees that I spoke to from the store and corporate.

Nice store, nice furniture. We even had a nice sales person who let us explore but was available when we had questions. The high pressure tactics instilled from management is extremely annoying. It was near impossible to leave the store. At the end it seemed like the "manager" was pulling the strings of the sales person (who did a great job) but kept getting involved. We are in the shopping phase and after this experience have one less place to think about.

Buyer beware!! Dont buy from Ashley! I purchased a 3000 dollar couch a few months ago and it has lumps in the cushions! A basement full of cushions that were sent as replacements are more lumpy than the ones that are on my couch. the supervisor left message advising me that I can fix it myself "open up cushion and adjust foam to my liking" How disappointing to spend so much money and end up with a poorly made product that the company wont stand behind.

Very nice store! The sales associate was very helpful and knowledgeable. Store is undergoing a moving sale and offering unbelievable bundling prices. The new location will also be on Rt. 110 but further south. Check it out!

Delivery day called me furniture came broken. They will not be able to deliver before June 12th. Worst customer service. Dont go any ashley or online store. Its better go to raymour and Flanagan or any local stores.
