Too bad they are prohibited from selling beer and even common mixers like seltzers and tonic water, but the New York alcohol and soft drink monopolies must be protected at all costs from competition. How do other states manage to "allow" liquor stores to sell beer, mixers, food products and cigars without driving their competitors into bankruptcy? How do Florida liquor stores -- selling wine and beer and food -- manage to exist and thrive side-by-side with grocery stores selling wine and beer and food? Must be magic.

I stopped going to the small guy because they never had what I wanted or if they did the prices where high. You cant beat the variety and prices period. Staff will make recommendations and point you in the right direction. Clean and well lit, with a lot of Parking.

I went in the other week to buy some wine for a gift and the staff was so helpful picking out the perfect one. I used to shop in other wine stores in the area but not now I only go to maximum. They have the best prices and staff in the Syracuse area.
