Knowledgeable and wonderful! We recently got a puppy and weve had tons of questions along the way. Every time I go into the store the staff is always happy to see me (and my little boy!) and theyve always got lots of suggestions...and patience when I have lots of questions. I spent forever trying to figure out which food we wanted to give our border terrier, what kinds of toys were right for him, what kind of leash he should have... Ive been to other pet stores and it just isnt the same. The quality of the products and the help here far surpasses many of the other places weve tried. Elmwood Pet Supplies is where we go for everything pet related. You should definitely check it out!

I go to school in buffalo and went to Elmwood Pet Supplies for the first time a few weeks to go to pick up a fish for my girlfriend and also had some questions about my other fish, and the employees were extremely knowledgable and great to talk to. I also like the fact that it isnt a chain like pet supplies plus which is a terrible company and the employees have no idea what they are talking about. I would highly recommend this store to anyone not only for fish but they have a ton of supplies for other animals despite how small the storefront appears

Decent selection. Extremely kind and courteous staff. Prices here are often times surprisingly cheap! I will always shop here before any chain stores. I will always have fond memories of this place. When I adopted my first dog, Roscoe, from the shelter on Oak Street, Elmwood Pet Supplies offered a significant discount at their store on your first purchase as well as a free I.D. tag. This place rules.

Way to cramped, wasnt impressed at all with there selection of anything especially reptile stuff. Employees were just ignorant teens. Whom made fun of any old lady after she left, horrible thing to do when customers are still in the store. Overall I will never waste my time going back sorry. Pets supplies plus is just around the corner and is twice as good.

I go to Elmwood Pet Supplies for everything. Their staff is super knowledgeable and loves animals. I bring my dog here every time we need to re-up on treats and food. Whenever I had any dog or aquarium questions, their staff is always ready to help. I recommend this shop to everyone whos looking for the best products for their pets.

Purely AWESOME. Extremely knowledgeable staff, very courteous, and great prices to boot! After many poor experiences at other pet stores (local and chain), I will never go anywhere else! Specifically, Josh is incredible. Anything you need to know about fish, Josh is your man!!

The store is not large and very cramped but they were packed with a many products as they could fit, plus the staff was very friendly and showed me some items I was looking for and answered my questions. They also said they can order an item if they dont have it in stock.

Overstuffed neighborhood pet store with pretty much everything you could need and they will order what they dont have. Friendly knowledgeable staff, especially the owner, who likes to get to know you and your pet.
