I went today to get a cake for my sons birthday party at school. Im not a picky person, after all its for a bunch of 4 & 5 year olds. They are going to eat it regardless. The lady that was helping, or rather not helping, did not greet us at all. In fact she walked over as if we were bothering her. When I asked if she by chance had any cakes in back that had boy colors for frosting, she told me we should go to Pathmark or BJs because they dont have any. At that point, I consider leaving but I have never been to Stop & Shop before and Ive heard good things about the cakes so I decide to make it work. Being that I was short on time, I told her I would take the graduation cake that was blue and green flowers but asked if she could take the graduation deco off. She shook her head to reply yes. I then asked if she could write on the cake and wrote down "Happy birthday Amari". She asked if it mattered what color frosting. I said no, just whatever looks good with the cake. She walks away. She comes back a few minutes later with PINK frosting. Mind you, I realize I said it doesnt matter but since when does pink go with blue and green? Then she proceeded to remind me of what I said and then took the cake back to tell the other lady in the back there was a problem with the pink letters. The second lady sucked her teeth, rolled her eyes at me and mumbled under her breath. The second lady then proceeded to write over top of the pink frosting with blue frosting. I walked out. Thanks Stop & Shop for hiring sub-par employees who will ruin the experience and have me never patron your store again.

I have great experiences at Stop & Shop via it serves a few rare food types that major supermarkets dont like Caribbean type of food items. I also like this location via a Redbox machine is located inside. I have seen many movies that were in the movies 3 months prior on DVD via this Redbox. So after grocery shopping I am leaving to go home with a DVD and smiles. I the lines are very long at this location. Dont you ever think you are going anywhere fast here. Really trust me. I hope they fix this, faster lines. Eat.Shop.Play. Live Life Unscripted...

They ALWAYS seem badly under-staffed. Their self-service registers are not available most times, except for one or two. Today they only had one self-service register working, and, of course, "...it only accepts credit or debit cards. No cash." This, while there are 3 other self-service registers shut down. To top this off, they only had 3 cash registers open, which is the norm, which means there is always a line, and a wait at this Stop & Shop. I try really hard to avoid this supermarket. The worst Stop & Shop I have experienced.

This is a good Stop and Shop. I like the managers. Very nice and personable. Very down to earth and help you with whatever is needed. Pharmacists is a VERY NICE GUY (respectfully saying)!! Very helpful and sweet. He helps, even to the point of going to the isles and helping you with any medication you need. Very aware of peoples needs. I really have nothing bad to say. However some of the cashiers are a little bit immature and have a little bit of an attitude. But all in all is a good store. Nice people

The lines are usually always long and slow and instead of opening more registers so we can pay for our items fast and get out, they like to close registers which sucks and contributes to the long line waiting. The employees at the register should move at a fast pace and make the waiting time less instead of talking, staring and scanning items like a turtle.

Like the store and the prices. Although a few of the people at the deli department are rude and dont have any customer service skills. They make the shopping experience downright unpleasant. I stop buying anything from the Deli as not to have to get into am argument with them and to keep me from punching one of them in the mouth

I just purchased lamb chops at this location..$15 wasted. When I got it home the meat smelled like rotten eggs. I cooked one chop and it smelled even worse..The chicken also had an expiration date for 6/8/2017 I passed on that for the lamb. Ill never buy meat from here again.Ill stick to place that cares about the patrons.

Its too big. There are no clear indicators for where things are, and the prices were the same as my local c town. Nothing super about that. One of the workers was very helpful, but there were only 2 checkout lanes open. 2 open lanes in a store the size of a football field?

The worse ever right now just getting off from work only 2 registers open and over 20 people waiting on each line spoke with manager and all he could say was there is nothing he could do about it and went right back in his office. I give this stop and shop a thumbs down.

I love stop & shop but the lines in this place are ridiculous! All the employees are slow, out of all the registers they have only 2 or 3 of them are open with about 15 people on each line!! Dont come to this stop & shop if you are in a hurry!!

Always fully stocked, flowers are always fresh and lines are usually short. Only problem for me is that they never have enough carts. I usually have to wait for someone to give me their cart or walk around the parking lot looking for one.

Eh, Its okay. The lines can be very very long. Service is okay and the food is usually in good condition. Since Path Mark closed, the prices at Stop & Shop increased significantly. I suggest using Aldi instead.
