Its not a big box store and their prices, though reasonable, reflect that. The big plus for this store is convenience if you dont drive and need something like a 2 x 4 of a 50lb bag of rock salt. However, as another reviewer noted, too many items in the store have no marked price and when you do bring something up to the front to get a price you too often discover youre paying a premium for convenience. If youre not in a hurry and need something that can be shipped to you, youre probably going to save money buying online. They claim to be a cabinet showroom, but that must be a vestige of a previous retail life. They do sell lumber and building supplies, but the choices are limited and on these items their prices are definitely higher than Lowes or HD despite the large sign they have proclaiming their prices are better than the big box stores. The staff is a mixed bag, particularly if you dont speak Spanish. They range from courteous, knowledgeable and helpful to gruff and incompetent. I wouldnt be heartbroken if a big box store came into the neighborhood and put these guys out of business, but until one does its really a godsend to have them in the neighborhood.

Not a bad place though they can be a bit gruff. They have pretty good selection though. But I HATE that half the stuff they sell has no price tag on it. You have to cart materials and supplies up to the counter to find out what theyll cost you. And BTW, we DO NOT need a Home Depot in Riverdale. HD is awful and should be run out of business. What we need is a Lowes. If youve ever been to a Lowes you stand in amazement as to how Home Despot can survive at all. Their workers are unavailable and often out to lunch. Their stores are invariably a mess and they dont have half the things you need for a job so you have to travel from store to store to collect the materials for your project.

These guys are amazing. I showed up 30 minutes before close and needed a piece of plywood that was tough to get to due to them having loaded all their displays/trucks/etc in for the night. The team went above and beyond to help me get it, including climbing on top of a van.... All so I could complete a personal art project on the weekend while my husband can watch the kids. Totally above and beyond, every time! No need for big hardware box stores for me... Im keeping it local from now on!

Angel was supposed to work at my house to install a tv mount. 1st time he cancelled on me for a job he had to run to, 2nd time he didnt show up. I took off of work both times, called 3 times each and confirmed, both times he never called back. People that cant even pick up the phone is not worth anyones time. If you are TO BUSY dont offer to do the job!!!!!

I found this store by accident and only stopped in to look at their paint selection. What I found was a store that has solved all of my hardware needs. As someone who is mechanically impaired, I do not like hardware store, but this is one that I can actually spend hours in searching up and down the isles for fun toys.

It said online that they were open until 6pm. I arrived at 4pm, and they were completely closed, wasting an hour in pointless travel time on a day where I really dont have the luxury of time.
