My finace and I had a horrible experience with a very well known jeweler in Garden City, NY, where my first engagment ring was losing sidestones almost monthly from the time he gave it to me. When we called to address the problem they snubbed us. Returning our ring for a full refund, we went to Gennaro Jewelers. I couldnt be happier with the service we recieved. Ray sat us down and not only explained the reason for my previous ring not holding up (something the last place never did) but also helped me pick a very similar, more sturdy setting that I absolutely love. They make you feel comfortable about all of your decisions and do everything with a smile. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for saving me from a terrible ordeal and making it the happiest time in my life.

I went to Gennaro Jewelers for a neck chain and medal repair which would ordinarily require leaving the items to be picked up at a later date. Although the store was extremely busy, Theresa, the sales associate knowing that I live in Suffolk County and that It would be an inconvenient to return at a later date to pick up the items, immediately had my medal and chain repaired while I waited. This is not the first time that professional staff at Gennaro Jewelers has provided quality service at a really fair price. I highly recommend them for any jewelry item purchases and repairs. Went here to get a ring resized after having a bad experience at another jeweler, and it was definitely worth it. The price was about double what I paid at my first stop, but the quality of work and customer service made it a no-brainer. They also offer free cleaning and checks to make sure the stones in your jewelry are secure. The only reason I would not rate them 5 stars is because of the price, and also because I was pressured to get my ring sized smaller than I wanted (it was really cold that day). Fortunately, after expressing my concerns they said they would readjust it for free in the next 3-5 weeks.

Adriana and Diana helped me with a custom engagement ring. After going to a local jeweler, and having my ring altered terribly I had no other choice but to get a new setting. I was very low on patience and wanted to just get a another setting. But Diana and Adriana steered me in the right direction to get duplicate my ring and add a halo. They were wonderful and knew deep down I wanted to keep my unique ideas on the band. They will tell you exactly what they will do, and what will look correct. Nothing is sugarcoated. If you looking for honest, impeccable work go to Gennaro!! Forever happy and thankful!

Best jewelry store on Long Island. Excellent staff, great technicians, beautiful selection, everything done while you watch; a very honest place. I have had three watches repaired here, one of which was my fathers 1930s Bulova, which was formerly his fathers, and was decrepit but beautiful; they restored it wonderfully. It had sat lifeless in a drawer for 20 years, but thanks to Gennaro, the last 20 years it has worked perfectly and has been a nice remembrance of my father. Generations of families have purchased jewelry here and it is easy to see why. They are the best.

What a great jewelery store! I stopped in during the Bellmore Street Fair last month to take advantage of their free jewelry cleaning promo. Before they cleaned my engagement ring they put in under a microscope attached to a TV monitor which I could see. 2 of the 4 prongs holding my diamond in place were loose. The jeweler was able to tighten them while I watched, my ring never left my sight. The sales girl said I was very lucky that I had not lost my diamond. I am so glad I stopped in. Thank you Gennaros - you gained a new customer for life!

Terrible service and over priced jewelry. Rude people. Maybe if they built their reputation by word of mouth, people wouldn't have to pay for their commercials with every purchase. They have lost their edge on how to retain business. I was willing to spend a hefty amount of money today. But because it seemed the salesman couldn't be bothered with me, I walked out and spent it somewhere else.

Just came back from there where my engagement ring of 40 years was re pronged and was helped by Roseann who I found to be totally professional, knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. The place was very professional and my ring NEVER left my sight. I would return again and again to have any of my jewelry repaired and hopefully purchase some as well.

Quality service while you wait or for drop off. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ive never had an issue with this place, and they rose to the challenge of repairing one of my favorite pieces that no one else could. I go out of my way to get to this place. It doesnt have parking of its own but theres a municipal lot about two blocks away.
