When considering the idea of getting a tattoo, one has to consider a number of things. I mean lets face it, this is not going to wash or fade away. I wont trust that kind of permanence to anyone but Randy and Shane at Upstate Ink. The quality of their work and their artistic abilities are astounding. I went into Upstate Ink for the first time a few years back and Randy took the time to create a truly unique work of art for my back. He is now finishing my seventh and largest piece yet. I recommend them to everyone looking to get work done. Thank you guys for helping to make my canvas more fun to look at. See you soon for more! Im not done yet

I got a tattoo about a year and a half ago. The whole thing was a mess, the man who did it (the guy with the dreads) is rude and a misogynist. He likes to make comments about the way women are, he also likes to be high while he puts a needle into your skin. I regret this tattoo, it looks like a doodle, and now I have to figure out how Im supposed to get it removed. If youre a man, and you dont care how your tattoo comes out, by all means go there. If you are a woman and like being respected or care about your tattooo DO NOT GO TO UPSTATE INK

Shane at Upstate Ink designed and inked my first tattoo, my boyfriends first tattoo, and all the tattoos we have received since. I also recommended Shane to my daughter for a new tattoo and a touch up of an older tattoo. Shane is professional and a very talented artist, and will design a beautiful original based on your input and ideas. Shanes work is in very high demand, so get on his calendar as soon as possible!

Had a great experience here...definitely recommend Upstate Ink. If youre thinking of getting a tattoo, go see Kevin. Not only did he do a phenomenal job on my tattoo, but he was honest, prepared, professional, and extremely patient with me because I find tattooing to be painful. He listened to what I wanted, made recommendations and explained everything before he started. I love my new tattoo!
