Bought a 2005 Mercury Montego from these guys, trusted the dealer at first but turned out to be a mistake. Drove the car home was fine, went out to wawa that same night got a check engine light and throttle response started acting funny, when i would step on the gas it would be really slow and over-drive wouldnt kick in . Had it reset at auto zone the next day turned out to be a cylinder misfire in cylinder 1. About 3 days later got a check transmission light, went back to a local automotive shop to have it connected to the computer, the computer read the cylinder misfire, and torque management request for the transmission. After the first week than i started seeing more problems. Going into 3rd gear their would be a reasonably noticeable jump in the trans and once i hit 50 mph the engine would shake. 2 weeks after purchasing the vehicle on my way home, got a check charging system light. I pulled into a gas station and car just completely died. The Alternator went. This vehicle did not have an inspection sticker and was told there were no problem with the vehicle. So i trusted these guys word. In total Ive had 3 check engine lights and a blown Alternator in 2 weeks of purchase. Called the dealer to work out swapping the vehicle for another one and was told there is nothing they could do unless i fixed the problems myself and THAN possibly i could trade it in for something else. Vehicle came with a warranty, took it to a local transmission shop to determine what the torque management problem was, had the guy test drive and he told me "take it back, they robbed you" most likely I would need a new transmission. The vehicle warranty will cover the engine and transmission but no other major parts going wrong. The warranty company since it is not through the dealership themselves would have to approve what if my vehicle needed a new trans even though the 2 shops i took it to said its what i would need. I bought a car to drive not to have it in the shop getting a transmission 2 weeks after i purchased it.The warranty also doesnt cover the smaller pieces of the transmission, the fluids, etc. so i would have to come out of pocket even though i still have a warranty. All in all i would never recommend this dealer to my worst enemy, sure the guy was friendly selling me the car, but would he help me out afterwards? NO. These guys are crooks and just wanna sell a car off the lot regardless of the condition and obviously are NOT out to do good bussiness. They dont have their own mechanic so theres no bringing the car to them get something fixed. They sell you a dream with these warranties giving you the assumption that your car would be taken care of if something were to go wrong, but when it does they dont want to help. If you want a car that is gonna inconvenience your life the first week or two after purchase, than this is the perfect place to go! But if your like most people and want a car to drive without any MAJOR problems 2 WEEKS after buying it than DO NOT buy a car from here. These guys are crooks and will rob you, sell you a busted down car they would patch up to work good for the test drive and hopefully the drive home than youll see problems immediately. I understand cars have problems and things go bad but its like these guys dont service or even check their vehicles before they leave the lot. I will NEVER buy or recommend anyone to purchase a car from Auto Outlet of Vineland ever again in my life !

Tax time is a hard time to buy a car. I start researching cars right after the new year, sometimes even before the new year for my next purchase. Something that was $8,000 in December will be $11,000 in March at most dealerships, I originally decided to buy from auto outlet in the first place because they didnt inflate there prices during tax season. Im so glad I chose them. I buy a new car every 3 years and for the past 12 years theyve been from auto outlet. My first purchase was in 2003 and was a 2000 vw passat..it was a 5 speed with 77,000 miles on it. My son still drives it to this day and it has 213k on it. Second purchase was in 2006 and it was a 2002 Toyota Camry, Steve gave me an excellent deal on it. It was around $1800 below market value. I drove it for 2yrs and unfortunately hit a deer. I have a average/low credit score and since I didnt have my tax return at the time I financed through a bank and Steve got me approved at a great payment with low interest, he has very good relationships with the banks from what I understand. I bought a 2006 Nissan altima which I then drove for until 2010 and then gave to my daughter and she still drives it with 140k on it. Steve even helped us get a great deal on new tires for it 2 yrs after the fact. I then bought a 2008 altima which I loved...In 2013 we bought a 2010 Ford fusion. The Ford has been a really solid car. I was a little skeptical of Ford at first but Jack showed me some pros and cons of the vehicle and I decided it was the right choice. Very happy with my purchase. This year I now have made my 5th purchase of a 2012 vw passat tdi. The car has been phenomenal. Ive had it about two weeks and have loved driving it. Steve and Jack are great people, Ive met Steves 2 sons and daughter. His daughter Blair has special needs and is a fire cracker. Very funny like her father. They are good people and run a tight knit family business. I implore you to stop in because Im so glad I did 12 years ago. I cant recommend them enough. Theyve sold 5 other cars to friends of mine and theyve all had great experiences like Ive had. Definitely recommend them, over and over.

Just when I thought that a honest used car dealer was an oxymoron, I found Auto Outlet of Vineland New Jersey. We found this used car dealership by broadening our search for the vehicle we were looking for. It was a 2 hour trip from Pennsylvania and we had been of numerous wild goose chases previously to other dealerships looking for our car. I called and Jack answered the phone, I told him we were far away and he said when you want to come look at the vehicle, you can call and we will hold it until you get here so its not a wasted trip.I had several questions about the vehicle and he told me he couldnt answer those questions, one, he was downloading info on his computer, and two, the vehicle wasnt on the lot for him to look at. I told him we would call back later. We called again later and the owner Steve answered the phone. I told him we were interested in the vehicle but had a 2 hour ride. I asked him what was wrong with the vehicle. He was honest with me and told me what was wrong. I asked about oil leaks, and he said it was dry underneath. Like I was going to believe that.We decided to go look at it. We arrive and Steve gave us a good 5 minutes to look the vehicle over before he came out and sure enough everything he said was TRUE, EVEN the dry under the engine!! He photocopied our drivers license and left the 2 of us take it out as long as needed. We bought the vehicle and are absolutely thrilled with it. After 6 weeks of being lied to by used car dealers, it was very nice to find an honest one. Thanks Jack and Steve!!
