sharron the piercer did my nipples and they turned out fine. but then i came back for my lip and i had soo much trouble with it. i went to 2 other places to see what was wrong and it turns out she pierced it 20 degrees off from the right angle. i had to take it out and let it heal to get it re-pierced.. and she WILL NOT give a refund for her mistake. and on top of tht wehn i went back the first time cause it was swelling she made me feel like i was a burden but put in another labret. DO NOT GO TO ALTERED ART! unless its for a tattoo. eric lawson is amazing ** response to "marcy"** funny how the person that told me the piercing was at the wrong angle was at infinite body piercing. the place sharron told me to go when i wanted a horizontal lip. and she never said it was wrong to put a bandaid over the piercing. in fact i asked how i should go about it. i remember "i just dont know how people do it, it would bother me" so there was nothing said about a bandaid being bad.. yes i changed the jewelry that is my fault. but THAT DOES NOT CHANGE THE PIERCING BEING DONE WRONG. p.s. MARCY where did you get my name. i was never addressed my sharron as that. and if it truly is a customer and my name was released by the piercer it is unprofessional. JUST AS CALLING MY CELL PHONE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT MY REVIEW IS! (this statement comes from many of the employees at infinite body piercing; as i was there when sharron called) me-"I was told the piercing was pierced at the wrong angle and no matter how it healed after me changing the jewelry it would continuously become irritated because of the angle" sharron-"Oh does the person who told you that still have a job?" me-"actually yes. i am standing right in front of him, remember infinite body art where you told me to go.. well i was here when he told me you did it wrong, and hes here now" rich you can call infinite body art. the piercer there was the one to tell me that it was at the wrong angle. and yes i did mention that to the piercer at the other shop and he CONFIRMED. he kindly asked me to not mention his name to keep bad feelings among cohorts. so no i am not twisting the story about anything. this is not about my inability to treat the piercing correctly (i have openly stated that as my fault) it is about the piercing being done wrong. im done. my opinion is out and the story is "straight". my first experience was awesome and i have had not problems with my other piercings as i have stated. yet my lip was done wrong (I found this out at infinite art BEFORE i went to the "other shop" where the piercer was fired)

I read these reviews and you people are insane. This is a great shop. The lady that does the piercings, she does awesome work. The tattoo artists, are just that, ARTISTS. This is not a bull$hit shop. These are professionals. If you are wanting to hang around all day, have shop employees bring you drinks, try the ole flirt for service. Its not going to work here. You make your appointment, and come back. If they are available for a walk in, they will take care of you. This is a job. Just like anyone who is wanted for, time is MONEY. They dont have all day to lolligag. You should know what you want when you make your appointment. You should not come in and change your mind. They have scheduled you the due time, changing will cause you to run into someone elses appointment, and yes. You should HAVE to reschedule as to not put off the rest of their day. And yes, they are THAT good. Next, It is NOT the responsibility of the Modifier to Care for your modification. They are responsible for giving you a "After care sheet". If you cannot read, have them read it to you. If you chose not to take care of it as told, its YOUR FAULT that there is a problem, such as ink problems, swelling, infection, migration and rejection. Any idiot knows, that changing jewelry in a piercing before it is healed is just NOT done. The cause of it rejecting, is more then likely the REJECT screwing with it 24-7. Infection and swelling will cause the jewelry to rip through the skin from pressure. ( Shops deal with people like this woman everyday. And it is annoying. They see them coming from a mile away. Personally. I feel like, if you want a refund, you should have to return something. So I dont feel bad for you people, do what YOUR supposed to, and there would be no problem. We travel from Alabama to get work done at this shop. Dont listen to these Pecker-woods, this is a great shop.

I work at Altered Art, and was there when Jessica was here. Pretty much everything this woman says is Ridiculous. She changes the story to fit her needs. Sharon pierced her lip as she has done to countless people over her 10 years here, (with no complaints by the way), and Jessica couldnt handle following the directions, which made her healing experience uncomfortable. Rather than do what she was told by Sharon and the care sheet she received, she decided to cover it and put alcohol on it. She admittedly changed the jewelry multiple times against direction, and when she came back, Sharon STILL helped her, even though she couldve easily refused service to her for not following directions. So, she gets mad that Sharon was mean to her, and goes to another shop in Millville to talk to their piercer. That guy told her it was the wrong angle, not the dude at Infinite. I know this because a good friend of mine works at that shop and was there, and told me about it before Jessica even mentioned it. By the way, the piercer who told her that has been fired for piercing everyone WRONG. So, wait a few days and lets all see how Jessica turns all of this around again. Here we go!! By the way, youre name is at the top of your review.

********************************** Hello There!!, I have gone to Altered Art for years for all my (many) Piercings and Tattoos. I was actually THERE on one of the days that Jessica came in and complained to sharon about her piercing... the reason she had SUCH a hard time with it healing is because SHE CHANGED THE JEWELERY WITHIN DAYS OF GETTING IT PIERCED!! Anyone that has ANY clue about piercings will tell you that you CANNOT do this. EVERYONES body is different and any legit pirecer will tell you that you need extra room for the first few weeks, for your pierced area to swell. I myself heard Jessica claim that she had to cover her lip piercing with a band aid for her job, and could not do so with the jewelery that sharon had pierced it with. And this 20 degrees off nonsense was an idiotic remark told to Jessica by a piercer at another shop that was actually just let go do to his inability to pierce customers correctly. This whole thing kinda cracks me up, people should not be allowed to leave a review for a shop unless they are educated enough to understand the basic fundamentals of healing a piercing. As i said, i have had MANY piercings done by Sharon, and never once a problem with any of them...
