Recently started a raw diet about a month ago. Have been going into healthy times to get wheat grass and other items. Have spent a decent amount of money the past month. Not an overly friendly staff and today when I asked to try a teaspoon size of the bean soup to see if I liked it before I spent over $5.00 for a small cup, I was told the soup was to expensive to make and therefore could not try it. I expressed my displeasure at the register and was then told that there were lawsuits against them from people saying the samples were to hot. COME ON! Not good customer service and just lost what could have been a loyal customer. I will go and invest in the wheat grass press for $45.oo now and make my own juice!

Dan and Dani are the owners of Healthy Thymes and nicer people you will not find.The manager Jennifer is very knowledgeable and has helped me quite a few times navigate the myriad of supplements to make sure I am taking the correct formulation or amount. She has also recommended new products that I would not have found without her help.They order supplements directly from the manufacturer so they have genuine products with good expiration dates that can not always be taken for granted,especially when ordering from Amazon.They have a very nice selection of groceries as well as a kombucha bar which is awesome. Its nice to have a local business that really cares about its clientele.

I like this store and that it is local. The staff seems to be not very caring however which is a slight disappointment. There was a young guy working in the back making iced coffee for two customers while I waited to order my usual, and what do I see? : he is grabbing ice with his hands (no gloves). Well... now I need to find my new "usual" somewhere else. I even asked the guy if he is normally grabbing ice with no gloves he said to me: yes, but if I grab food I always use gloves.... and how is that different??? Ugh... frustrating. Anyway, they got a Kombucha self-served little bar - reason why I will be back :)

Sick of having terrible experiences here. Vernon is fairly isolated when it comes to finding a variety of organic and vegan varieties in one place, which is the only reason why I shop here. However, from purchasing spoiled items to the snobby encounters with the older, rotund woman with glasses behind the counter, Im done. If Im returning moldy bread I bought the day before or asking about an item Ive seen elsewhere theres no need to be skeptical or smug. Ill be making the trip to the other alternative market on route 23 from now on.

Just recently moved to Vernon and Im so happy that this store is so close and has amazing products. I mainly shop for beauty/vitamins but their food/tea selection is great in my opinion. The staff is also friendly and helpful
