I just got back from here and I cannot say enough positive things about this place! First off, they are SUPER nice and grateful for their customers. I went in to sell my tiny wedding band from my ex. It was sitting in my drawer for 4 years and I had completely forgot about it. Super tiny with like 1/10 k of diamonds. I was expecting to get $15 and he gave me more than double! Im so happy I didnt go to a check cashing place to pawn it. When I walked in Ryan, maybe the owner, greeted me with a smile. He was more than happy to help me and spend time explaining things even though they were closing. I told him why I was there and he immediately gave me a mini Poland Spring bottle of cold water. Immediately I was impressed. That type of hospitality is HUGE in my book! He weighed it while talking to me and told me how much it was worth. Of course I took the $$$. The ring was garbage to me. While he was helping me I couldnt help but notice the GORGEOUS items they had for sale. Wow, just stunning.....and the prices were right! I urge you to check this place out. I can almost guarantee youll be impressed. Support small local businesses vs big companies who mostly care about their bottom line instead of making customers happy. I will definitely go there if Im looking for a nice piece of jewelry.

I recently acquired some gold and silver pieces of jewelry from a family relative, not having any real use for them I decided to sell them and use that money for my sons college fund. I had brought these pieces of jewelry to 47th St. in the diamond district as well as Paramus jewelers exchange trying to see who would give me a better price. I had stopped on my way to pick up my dry cleaning and saw Gardenstate jewelers. When I had walked in the owner greeted me in a very pleasant manner I explained to him my situation and brought in the pieces of jewelry from my car. From my research he gave very fair market value and he even tested and weighed the jewelry right in front of me. Since then I have always gone back to Ryan and he always gives me great care, great prices, and a level of service that keeps me loyal. Definitely recommend going to him, plus you get a free bottle of water every time you enter his store what a guy!

There are many reasons why one would write a review on the internet. Some of these include boredom and self-narcissist-fueled attempts (which are, inevitably, always futile) at "fame". With GSJ, its easy to understand why the patrons write the reviews they do. The staff is helpful, courteous, knowledgeable and above all else, honest, fair and decent. Far too often do you hear stories of swindlers in this business - "jewelers" looking to make a quick buck of the hapless young woman who knows no better. Ryan and his team are top notch individuals and I trust nobody else with my jewel acquisitions.

Purchased our wedding bands with Ryan. He doesnt pressure you into making a purchase right away, in fact, he takes the time to educate you and answer all your questions. He gave us their site to look at the different molds to help us make a decision. He would also try and match any competitors price. I brought in some watches for battery replacements and overall the service was Professional, Fast and Friendly. It was $7 for on-site (cheaper watches) replacements and $10 for off-site. They offer you a cold water bottle as soon as you come in which is a nice touch for a Jewelry store. Be prepared to pay Cash/Check. Although the pricing was pretty good, so I was fine with that.
