Well, for those of you who dont know what goes on behind closed doors, lets just say ignorance is bliss!!! No, they do not vet check any of the kittens that are dropped off to them!! Or if they are running low they have a call list of people whose cats had kittens and are trying to get rid of the offspring. Not to mention the staff is not as knowledgeable as you think.. Selling tanks for animals (to new owners) that the animal will grow out of in a few months or what is required for the long term care and continuous health of the animals.. Costing the owner more money then needed... Some of the dogs are from Puppy Mills, however I will say some are not, theres your 50/50.. Tanks and cages are not maintained (cleaned) as they should be, just covered so people cant see.. The animals that come in from people looking to get rid of their pets (because of one reason or another) do not get quarantined for any period of time (so as to not spread any diseases), but are placed on the floor for resale. 95% of the time with other animals that could be perfectly healthy!!! So, lets read up on the animals or companions that we want or have.. This way you know what to looking for!!!!!!!

I purchased a kitten from there almost two weeks ago and had to put her down yesterday. After having her home for a couple of days my girlfriend and I had to take her to the vet because she was extremely sick. Only a short week later we had to put her down because her illness had progressed even further. This is the second animal I had purchased from there and the second animal that was so extremely sick that I had to put down shortly after.

Wonderful family ran business. All the workers will take the time to stop what they are doing and help you. The puppys and cats are all well taken care till they find a home. The store offers boarding, trimming, boarding and even a agility training course. Also have birthday parties. My son and I enjoy going there a lot. Love the people there.

One of the best pet store I have been in now originally I am from Camden county so I have been in my faie share of pet stores but you will not go into a pet store as helpful and caring as Pv Pets the staff seriously cares about your animal and it could be any type of animal they are very experienced & kind.. #youronestoppetshop

Every time I walk in to PV Pets the staff instantly puts a smile on my face. They are friendly and always know the answers to my nonstop questions. It is a clean pet store and the animals are well taken care of. They have a wide variety of products for any need that your pet(s) may have.

This store takes horrible care of the animals except for the fish the fish are well maintained. The puppies are from puppy mills and the cats are never up to date on shots. I only recommend this store for fish and fish ONLY.
