On Tuesday Sept 30th,2014 I came w/ my 7yr old on our bicycles around 7pm. There was tremendous amount of traffic, so we got on the side walk and dismounted by the entrance by Sarku Japan. We parked our bikes inside the mall, by the plants and away from peoples way, but close enough to keep our eyes on it. (didnt have chain to secure the bikes outside).We get our dinner and sat down to eat and this Security Guard named "DONALD BECK", comes up and demands we take our bikes out. " YOU cant ride your bikes here" he says. I told him I do not have a chain to secure it out side and we are just about to eat and will leave in 15 min. He is not listening to it and basically grabbed my sons bike and is about to literally throw it out side. At this time I advised him to do not touch my sons bike or you will have a problem. We exchanged words, it is a heated discussion and my son starts crying, he is scared and confused. He is 7. I am asking him politely to let it go and let us eat and we will be leaving. We were disrespected and were forced to take our food outside. This security here insisted I take the food out on our bikes!!! really!! how would you expect me to do that? Everyone , employees, customers, etc...at this time are watching us, Me irate and angry, My 7 yr old crying and scared and this security guard being this bullying law man<----whatever! forcing us to leave, just because we had our bikes. I am really appalled at some of the people that are at this facility, w/ out any regards to common decency and ettiquetes. I would like to say this is a great outlet/mall...I come here everyday to eat, shop and scope the stores. My favorite places to eat are Sarku Japan and Whole Foods. I am really hoping the security would implement courtesy,proper communicational skills and little bit of human touch to the people that supposed make things calm and chaotic free.I did send a complaint to the head of security and as well as to Vornado Trust. "They will look into it" was the response. all I want is an acknowledgement and an apology for the way I and my son was treated. There was no reason for this to happened.

As far as outlet malls go, this one is pretty small so if youre looking to do some intensive outlet shopping, this isnt the place for you. Id suggest going over to Jersey Gardens instead. For all us others, this mall has all the essentials. We have our discount stores like Marshalls, Homegoods, and Target. Theres plenty of clothing stores ranging from J. Crew/Banana Republic to Old Navy. Several baby/children stores and my personal favorite, WHOLE FOODS! Theres a few places to eat around too such as Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze, Pei Wei, etc. You probably wont spend your whole day here but if you know exactly what you need, you should be able to get a decent deal on it. And if all else fails, Garden State Plaza is only a few minutes away!

A decent alternative to the plaza or Paramus Park. They have whole foods....target... ULTA and qdoba..as well as lots of other great brands and places to eat. Clean, often busy but a good place to shop for what you need if you want to avoid the plaza and can find it here. Good for shopping with the family. Decent security presence, always improving the place and adding more brands and updating. Good places to eat... close to Red Robin as well which is located in a separate building in the same parking lot but I believe is still considered part if this mall.

Nordstrom Rack is very technically advanced and organized well. I didnt bring my receipt for the merch I brought to it, but they could find my receipts through their computer system. And, the merch wasnt bought at the Rack. It was bought through Hautelook. They could still find it which is unbelievable. And, the associates friendliness didnt hurt either. She also gave me good and true beauty advice for my beauty products purchase. Well done store. I highly recommend.

So recently we opened a kiosk at this mall, and i will advise anyone thinking about opening a business here to run.. we lost our shirt and were promiced so many things by the managment, who only cares about money period. its the first and only place we have lost money and ALOT of it. We did it for the holiday season which they told us was super busy but was not at all... Really if your planning a business... plan it elsewhere. Even during the holidays you cant win.

This branch of Sprint should be an example of how every cellphone carrier store should aim to be. I had service with a very horrible company (Lycamobile- STAY AWAY) and Imani Garcia stayed with me for 3 hours on hold, doing everything possible to help me switch to Sprint. This store is so nice, they remember their customers and treat them as friends. To say they go above and beyond for their customers is an understantment. Thank you Bergen Mall Sprint! :D

AHS LLC

A one stop shop for a long range of things. Clothes shopping (tj maxx, Burlington, etc) to a supermarket across the street from Lowes and some decent food spots, why go anywhere else? You could spend a few hours here and do a variety of things. Hang out, get some new gear, eat dinner at Chilis and oh yeah, pick up a quart of milk on the way home. I definitely recommend you visit if youre in the neighborhood.

This facility is very close to Westfield Garden State Plaza mall so whatever youre looking for you should be able to find it here or there. Its large and again easy to navigate. Unlike most outlets this facility is enclosed so you dont have to step outside into the elements. The food court is very small but there are other dining options nearby. Right next to the Outlets you an find a REI store as well.

A nice, relatively calm outdoor and mall center with a range of medium to high end stores and factory outlets. There are also several decent restaurants and a huge whole foods. The outlets are ok, but typically have their own selection apart from the real stores so dont go expecting huge savings on something you saw in the real store. Still, nice to have some relatively relaxing shopping in the area.

You can get some good deals at this mall. There are a lot of places to shop. There is no food court like other malls but they have a few places to eat. Even the Whole Foods had a place to eat inside. Parking is all around the mall, including a parking garage which usually has space. Remember this is in Bergen county so they are closed on Sunday which means they are extra busy on Saturdays.

Holy Hot Garbage this place is weird... Just oddly spaced out and positively insane on the weekends. Parking is "kill or be killed" in the jersiest sense of that phrase on an idle Tuesday afternoon. That said, theyre starting to do cute, well organized kid friendly shows... so, I have to give them props for trying. Also, it looks like they might be building more parking....? lets hope so.

An outlet modeled as if it were a mall? WOW! Im a fan! There is a good selection of stores to shop at here including big name stores like Banana Republic, J Crew, Saks Fifth, Century 21, etc. The stores here usually have sale promotions going on so prices are a steal! Definitely a place worth checking out if youre looking to shop or even just browse!
