Do any employees go through training here? I went here before my international trip as I was in need of a translator. I walked in asked for a translator and the staffs answer was "I speak Spanish how can I help you" Im looking at them totally confused because Im speaking to you IN ENGLISH and your speaking to me IN ENGLISH so why are you telling me that you are a translator. Taking that as just maybe it was my mistake, I explained to the staff member that I actually need the translator equipment. He sent me upstairs. I go upstairs and after seeing 4 staff member congregating but not assisting any customer, I disturb them from their very fun filled break and asked for a translator. Again I got the same answer, I speak Spanish how can I help you? I know Im not crazy so Im like no I need an actual translator and again I got the same answer. Since apparently I was not clear I went on about how its a gadget that you input a word and it tells you how to say it in various other languages. Their answer - we dont have that here. not giving up I went for one last round. When that staff member told me no we dont have it I gave up. In the meantime, my hubby found the device in the store all alone. Whats the purpose of having all these people on your payroll yet they are just speaking to each other or dont even know what you have in the store. I did not purchase the item there because I was so upset I would not give money to a place and much less commission to someone that doesnt even deserve it! I went on Amazon and got it in 10 min and got it next day. Never again will I be going to this Best Buy. I already had boycotted them years ago and decided to give them another chance and this just reaffirmed the fact that they are not my type of facility. Sorry.

We Bought a TV from them and scheduled a delivery date and took the day off. The window for delivery was from 12-4pm. No one called to confirm, so we call them at 12:30 was told they would be here around 2:30 now the wait begins.....it is now 4:00 and again was told someone is on their way. By this point we are losing it. Cut to 5:00 we get a call from the Geek squad who is suppose to deliver and mount it we are asked if they can take the TV (79") out of the box because they cant fit it in the van..A VAN!!!! Really!! Absolutely not!! At this point we decide to pick it up ourselves and was told we had to travel to another store because they did not have it!! Now we asked if someone would still come to mount it and was told to call them once we were home. When we call we were told that they came while we were at the store and they were sitting outside for an hour (BS! Best buy). Our next step is too reschedule....very very frustrating day. Thank you Best Buy for worst experience ever!

I called to check on my laptop which of course was weeks late getting fixed. They kept putting me on hold until they finally dumped me into a general mailbox. When we have gone inside for service at geek squad they tried to get me to leave my laptop without giving me any paperwork. The person at the counter wanted me to sign a blank piece of paper that he could later print out a receipt on. As for the sales staff, I was interested in purchasing a TV, after finding the one that was on sale hidden of course in the way back. We went on the hunt for a sales associate who chose to ignore me and wait on two college age girls. They had no idea want they wanted and he spent a good 20 minutes following them around until I gave up and went to another store.

Preordered Fallout 4 Pipboy Edition, Felt robbed after finding that my order was cancelled the day before release... its sad... customer service then continued by saying its our fault and didnt dare do anything about it, Im now convinced one of them just got away with my order... Let their customer service see this and feel ashamed they just robbed a human being of fun and joy... I hope whoever decided to cancel this order among their ranks feels the sorrow and anguish that they deserve... I will now go on to buy Fallout 4 from a much more friendly and respectful store... and never return to Best Buy ever again, sick with what I just witnessed...

I like the store, its big and roomy, but I have to agree with most of the reviews about the lack of quality customer service. There was this guy who was very rude with one of the customers, when other sales associate call him out about his rudeness he replayed that they had plenty of customers and that they didnt need him. And all that was said in front of me, it was like the guy didnt eve care. The other guy I was talking to about a laptop look at another guy when I asked him about the specs of a particular model, he looked at the other guy like "Oh boy this is one of those". Seriously, this people have no sales skills.

Had a problem with my hard drive. Went to get it backed up at geek squad. The employee took the hard drive out and said it was unreadable, told me all of my data might be gone and offered to send it out for data recovery which he said averaged at around 400 dollars. I said no thanks and he put the drive back into the computer. I took it to the Apple Store 10 minutes after leaving and the drive was running and totally readable. Definitely wont be coming back here for computer servicing if the employees cant even correctly plug in a hard drive and try to sell me on services that are completely unnecessary.

I had purchased at a laptop using a Best Buy coupon. After realizing there was a problem with it, I went to get it replaced (a few days after purchase). Customer Service and the manager, Luis Andrews, said they would not replace it unless I would pay the extra money that I had saved with the coupon on the original date that I bought it. They refused to help me. I spent 1.5 hours in the store calling their corporate office so that THEY could talk to Luis, the manager, and get my laptop replaced like they should have in the first place. Disrespectful, unhelpful, needs to be restaffed or shut down.

Went to buy a laptop. The employee who was looking over the laptops had no idea what he was saying. Not only that but the laptop we had chosen was discontinued and was not in their systems yet it was on display saying it was on sale with the newer laptops. The employee we asked to get it for us knew this but didnt tell us it was no longer available. He kept avoiding us and kept us waiting for an hour. When we were finally informed it wasnt available it was from a different employee. He sent another employee to tell us and he was hiding in the back.

My dad and I went to Best Buy to purchase a mini-fridge for my dorm room. Lets just say the staff didnt even attempt to help you in any way and the manager was a ignorant jerk when we pointed out that the Best Buy flier stated that there was 15% off on ALL appliances over $100.00. The fine print only excluded several brands. Our fridge was completely qualified for this markdown, but the manager would not allow our fridge the 15% markdown and he was ultra rude. He is only promoting Best Buy as a company with false advertising.
