Where do I begin?? NIGHTMARE Experience. DO NOT BUY from Best Buy appliance dept. OMG!!! Just maybe pay a little more and be happy. Purchased a new $2900 fridge with extended warrantee, washer and drier and 65" Sony flat screen tv in Aug 2015. BTW sales rep Ashley was a sweetheart. By May 2016 had issues w fridge. Geek squad came to fix but had to order a part. Weeks went by, called to follow up and found out part was backordered. Geek squad recommended replacement. This is where the real nightmare began. Scheduled delivery for new one, received confirmation call night before. Delivery time came and went and no one shows up. Called and was disconnected twice and the third time told me delivery was a bit behind. The day went and after several phone calls....no fridge. Rescheduled delivery. Took half day off from work. Delivery scheduled 8-12. At 11:55am I called and again took forever and several disconnects to speak to someone. Same story. Truck was having trouble. Was told 1-4pm. By then lost my cool and had words. Then they told me that for that, they would not deliver. Went to store to speak to manager. Turns out managers at Best Buy are USELESS. There was nothing he could do because it was delivery company not Best Buy. A day later manager rescheduled delivery. Happened to be our wedding anniversary. By then we were desperate so we agreed. Scheduled for 1-4pm. Believe it or not, 3:55 pm came and nothing. Called and same ridiculous hold time and disconnects. "Oh truck problems again" New time 5:30-7. Our dinner reservations were for 6:00. Called and pushed dinner to 7:15. That time came and went and nothing. Called again. Now delivery for 7-9pm. lol. I then told them to call me 45 mins prior so we could leave our anniversary dinner and meet them on time for delivery. No phone call. No fridge. Now closed. Next day called and again, rescheduled for another time which I do not remember. (I think I blocked it from my mind). Same story.....no show. THIS IS NOT A JOKE!! I am tired of writing so I will spare you too many more details. Ill summarize the rest of nightmare. It took total of 19 days and 5 delivery dates without a working fridge from order date, numerous trips to store to plead w manager(useless), countless hours on phone...YES....HOURS and finally received new fridge. More countless hrs of phone calls to resolution dept, credit card company and BBB to report them. Should have checked the Better Business Bureau before purchase. What a mistake that was. Resolution dept offered $300 to make up for the experience after first promising a significant compensation. LMAO Really??? Is that all they think this nightmare was worth? I swear on my children that I will NEVER step foot in that store again. We have never hated a store so much in our lives. We thought we were getting "Punked." In speaking with people, we found out similar stories with their computer dept and cameras. OMG why didnt anyone warn me? I read some reviews after the fact and sometimes you think people are exaggerating or that they are being unreasonable. Believe me, I guess those negative reviews are on point. I wish I could give them negative stars but they wont allow less than one. If you take me seriously, "youre welcome" If you dont. God bless.

Will never shop at the Poughkeepsie Galleria Best Buy EVER again! December 9th 2014, is the release of Marvel’s GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY on home video. Best Buy is/was selling a retailer-exclusive Steelbook of the film (SKU: 8879005). Knowing this item was going to be a popular, I tried pre-ordering a copy for shipping or in-store pick-up. OUT OF STOCK the website told me. Apparently this item has been out of stock since late September. No worries, I live 10 minutes away from the Poughkeepsie Galleria Best Buy! I’ll pick one up on December 9th as soon as the store opens! The day has come, it is December 9th. Unfortunately, there is a nor’easter that was happening this morning as well. So before venturing out onto potentially hazardous roads, I called the store & asked if they still had the item in stock. The employee I spoke to on the phone told me, “Yes, we have the GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Steelbook in stock. I went to the Poughkeepsie Galleria Best Buy at 10:45am, a mere 45 minutes after the store opened and 10 minutes after the phone call I made. I went to all four cardboard displays the film was housed in & all copies of the steelbook were nowhere to be found. I went to the customer service desk to ask if they had any more copies somewhere else. I was told they had to go check. 15-20 minutes later the employee came back & said they had no more. When I asked for a manager I got the “I’m the manager” routine from the employee (it’s amazing how that title of her’s was absent moments before!). When I asked about the incorrect stocking information the employee on the phone gave me. The “manager” shrugged her shoulders. I next asked how they sold out of approximately 40 copies of this steelbook in roughly 45 minutes. She practically told me to “buzz off.” It’s at this point I was so infuriated between the lack of item & the insolence from the “manager.” I left the store & purchased the regular edition of the item at Target downstairs. I deliberately purchased the item from Target which was more expensive than Best Buy’s comparable item’s price because I refuse to give this store my business or my money, even if it costs me more in the long run. The Best Buy at the Poughkeepsie Galleria has left much to be desired for some time. I have had more bad experiences with this location than I have fingers & toes. I have even written to Best Buy Corporate about this store & they are just as indifferent about the store’s performance as the staff is apathetic. This is the last straw, I will never shop at the Poughkeepsie Galleria Best Buy again, and I implore you to do the same.

If I could rate this store with a star lower than 1 I would. Completely disappointed and disgusted with the service received by the sales associates at this Best Buy location as me myself a former Best Buy employee I walked into the store on the night of my girlfriend birthday to Buy a Apple MacBook Air which they didnt have in stock so I decided to get the MacBook Pro after help from the associate helping me and my girlfriend after browsing the store for cases and sleeves to only find nothing because of the small selection in the store before we could make our purchase we get approached two LP associates in the store ACCUSING me and my girlfriend of stealing a $50 Kate Spade sleeve and demanded my girlfriend to open her purse I felt honestly disrespected and embarrassed on how they approached and accused us of stealing and was ready to leave the store, after they search her bag to find nothing we left immediately and didnt even make the purchase and went to Apple instead to deal with real customer service reps and employees. Do Not shop here if you want to deal with lazy Employees and Paranoid LP Associates.
