The main reason I give it a one is for their customer service although I would expect their fruit to be fresher fir a farmers market. I bought a gag of corn chips and when placing my purchases in my car I noticed that the bag of chips were open. So I returned them and requested a new bag. Immediately I was accused of opening them myself and only after being laughed at did she check with the manager and get an unopened bag. Even after she gave me the bag she continued laughing a sharing the humor with her coworker. Not going back.

There is no supermarket produce department anywhere nearby offering the variety of produce nor offering the competitive pricing that Central Farmers Market offers. No supermarket produce section offers perfectly fresh produce. Yet, CFM is as good as any putting its vast selection out for sale. One gets the sense and feel that this establishment belongs somewhere in some inner city and I happen to beleve that is a good thing to have. Simply do your own level-headed realistic comparison and youll find yourself returning here often.

Fresh and cheap vegetables !! Lacks organic. Generally this farmers market has all the daily need of veggies and dairy products that too with very very reasonable price compare to other super markets. My whole week veggies and fruits bill never goes beyond $20. I would certainly say value for money . Only thing is that you will not see the organic products over here which they should add into their product range.

Incredible farmers market. You simply cannot beat the prices here and the quality if their produce and other food items in great. I come here twice a week and many others do too because it is so fantastic. Be wary it can be crowded on weekends especially midday. Manager and staff are friendly. Walk in with a $20 bill and walk out with 10 bags full of produce for the week!

The market is aptly named: all manner of fresh produce and vegetables, freshly baked breads and rolls (from NJs best Italian bakery), dairy and delicatessen foods come together for a unique shopping experience. The vibe is definitely old school...but, so are the prices.

Best prices on large quantities of produce anywhere around. While they dont sell the prettiest fruits and vegetables they are all fresh and taste good. And you can beat the price. A fraction of the cost of the grocery store and even the farmers market.

This is a most inexpensive place to buy fruit and produce. The quality of the produce is not always top notch, and sometimes the stuff wont last long, but if youre close and can go grocery shopping for fresh produce every few days, its a gem of a place.

Really really really great prices, but sometimes their goods are a little too ripe. Also, dont let the name fool you, this is not an all organic, locally grown place. Its basically the same stuff you get at the grocery store, just discounted heavily.

This place sucks! Not a single organic produce in the building. Most if it is from chili where they use a high concentration of chemical pesticide No wonder the prices are cheap. Pass on this place and on to a real healthy veggie stand elsewhere.

Very inexpensive produce. Worth making two trips when food shopping: one to the supermarket and another to the farmers market. However, sometimes the produce spoils a little quicker than expected.

They have a lot of variety of produce and great prices. They also have cut flowers and an independent deli. Quality of the produce is usually but not always good. Definitely recommend though

Be careful of short life spans on some fruit and veggies. Strawberries in a clamshell purchased last week only lasted a couple days then turned moldy in the fridge.
