I wanted so badly to like this place and be able to come here regularly. I do a lot of Asian-inspired cooking at home and this would have been the perfect place to buy ingredients but I just could NOT get past the smell. As soon as you walk in, it is just overpowering to the point where I could not stay in there for more than 30 seconds. Its quite a shame because this place is open on holidays when ShopRite and all over supermarkets are closed but its just not worth it. I know some people will try to say that this is how an "authentic" Asian grocery store would smell but I would have to disagree. There are several other Asian markets in the area and not once have I experienced anything to this level. It makes me rather worried about the safety of the foods sold here, especially the meats. I dont think its a coincidence that this place already got shut down once.

Very awkward ambience when you walk in. Interior of store is very drab and unwelcoming, I believe walls/floors were dark green and brown if I remember correctly. It was also very silent and there wasnt any prominent music playing. When I went around 4:30pm on a weekday, only one register was open (although they did open up another one when more people came into the store). The store itself isnt as big as I expected either. However, no problems in buying the products I needed, and the lady patiently waited for me to get my credit card that I had left in my car. Not the easiest to spot from moving traffic.

Good place for Asian groceries. I came here looking for specific Thai ingredients such as curry pastes, pandan leaves (frozen section), galangal (also in frozen section). They also offer frozen roasted pork buns and other dim sums. The fish section is very popular among Indians and Asians because they provide some popular Asian varieties of fish such as butterfish and pomfret. However they are farmed, (and no indication of wild caught fish anywhere) so I do not prefer them personally. Fresh Asian produce is also available and quite good.

I went faithfully to this place every week for their affordable seafood, and a couple other items. Ive always wondered how their seafood could be so cheap, but chose to assume the best. Then this last time I went and got two mango purée containers. I forgot to check the expiration first. We got home and tried some, and it tasted like the worst prune juice ever. We then checked the expiration labels, and on both bottles then had been peeled off. That couldnt have been an accident. Eew guys. Thats just nasty.

It stinks in this grocery store. Literally stinks. Some of the shelved items have expired. I tried to return something once (an unopened canned item) near closing time and the cashier was so rude to me. Only go here if you have to.

I only go here because it closest to my home, 35 miles away. I buy my fish and meats elsewhere, veggies only if they look good. Mostly just non perishables and some frozen stuff. It is smelly and not the cleanest place.

Very smelly place and poor quality sea food. To top it off poor customer service. Would never visit this place again ever. Better options available in the area.

It isnt always clean but it has a lot of the groceries that my dad buys. Perhaps because he is most comfortable in that space.
