During a visit with my son and family he expressed he wanted to buy a DSLR camera. He decided to buy from Wholesale Photo because the price was as low as the big box store’s and more importantly he would benefit from informed sales people. Tim, who is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful, assisted him with his purchase. The entire experience he felt was very positive. Two weeks past and I zeroed in on a particular Nikon lens I wanted to purchase. I was so impressed with the folks at Wholesale Photo while accompanying my son during his purchase that I went to their web site, found the lens, called and talked with Les who explained its features and benefits and bought it and a filter on the spot. It arrived a few days later via UPS. What makes this purchase unique is that we live in upstate Vermont! Excellent service, knowledgeable people, and superior products are what you’re sure to experience at Wholesale Photo.

I contacted Wholesale Photo about possibly selling them some of my camera lenses. I emailed them a list of what I had and pictures of each of the lenses. While I know that a store must resell the items and therefore offer a price, I felt that they offered me a little bit less than what they really could have. This was not the problem. I kindly said thank you very much declined their offer. Instead of letting it go, David from Wholesale Photo decided to email me back and berate me because I declined his offer and then told me to "stop insulting him" with how much I would have liked to have gotten for the lenses. I kindly responded to him saying that all I told him was what I would have liked to have gotten for my lenses and thank you for the offer. Then I told him Never to contact me again because he was highly unprofessional.

A fairly simple question really. Do you have a Canon cable, specifically a Canon IFC-200PCU. Goes to a Canon D60. Doesnt seem hard to me to check if you have it. Obviously I must be wrong. "We have card readers, get one of those." "theres no way for me to know what Cable you need". Like I said useless!!

The guy at the counter was very unhelpful and was also arrogant in his mannerisms. When I asked him if he had certain types of equipment, he looked at me like I was insane. He also had a very poor selection of equipment in general, I will not be returning.

They cannot resize image, they cannot print larger than 8x10, they do not process b&w films and they are really bored to tell that they do not know where you can to process it. So, it is (probably) good if you want to process C41 or print 4x6 photos.
