Been going to this Sears for 15 years now, not often but every other year to check out in person what new gimmicky junk Craftsman puts out. They have a lot of turnover like any retail place, especially an ailing one like Sears, but the guy at merchandise pickup yesterday (6/25/16) was surprisingly great. I picked up a screwdriver I had ordered to use up some points, went browsing through the tool section for about half an hour, and when I left he greeted me by name. This guy should be a five-star hotel concierge.

I give it two stars for the poor souls who are doomed to work here until it eventually, inevitably closes ... but the place is a GHOST TOWN, and the empty parking lot is depressing customer "repellent" to potential shoppers. The Sears Auto Center, doomed to occupy the same parking lot as the main department store, is a good place for replacement car tires or a car battery, but I wonder if I would depend on a place that seems so devoid of customer traffic to do much more work on my car than that.

Do not buy any large appliances from this store. This Sears is good for any cheap small items you may need. Spent over $3k on appliances and the experience was horrible. The delivery people that were supposed to install the appliances barely spoke English and left without installing. Told me to call customer service to find another company and left the appliances in my living room. After making a purchase no one can be bothered in helping if something was incorrect.

twice in past month, I tried to find a open registers to check out . First three registers posted a sign to go to next register, but does not say in which area of the store.After circling a very warm store with a armful of items ( no available shopping carts to be found) I found 1 open register, one cashier. I get it that Sears is in the midst of sales declining, so this is one more reason customers will choose to shop elsewhere

The customer service was horrible. I was felt I was unimportant. The sales rep insisted I was lying about purchasing an item at the store. The manager working on April 4th 2015 was extremely rude on the phone tried to yell at me. Never returned my phone calls. Just over all experience was horrible and I would not recommend anyone shopping for big items at the Middletown NJ store. Poor service.

A sad, empty and pathetic store. Please just go out of business already. Try actually getting someone on the phone at the store. If and when you do, they are very quick to reroute you to another section where nobody picks up.

Always loved Sears. Sorry to know to many people sit on their buts and order online. Customer service in store is sadly lacking these days and the poor souls who work there are stressed.

Good quality merchandise and reasonable prices. Far better than kmart, walmart or target. Ill shop here before I go to the other stores.
