Went in this store to purchase a bike for my daughters birth day. When walking in she said she had to goto the bathroom. So my wife brought her in to find a toilet exploded with urine and feces all over the place YUCK!!! So then we proceeded to the bike department of course no one was around to assist us so we took a few bikes down for my daughter to try, then found one we liked. It was on the 3rd shelf which needed a ladder to be reached. Fortunate for me the ladder was in the department and I had to climb it and take the bike down my self because god forbid you know someone actually wanted to do there job and help. While my daughter was trying the bike finally an associate came over but only to get a bike for another customer and left without even asking us if we wanted to be helped. So we decided to get the bike(after about 30min). So another trip up the ladder and I took one of the many tickets to bring up to the cashier to get my product. We walked pass the girl in the electronics department and went to the only other open register which happened to be the customer service register. The girl there then said she was busy and the other register was open. Then why the hell didnt the girl we walked pass tell us she was open. So we paid for the bike then she used the radio to get someone to bring up the bike(in box they wanted $10 to assemble it what a joke) That is when the fun started they did not have any new in box and she informed us that we would have to pay the $10 to get a pre assembled one. After stating my dissatisfaction on why they would assemble there last bikes the manager came over and was going to waive the fee. So they finally brought up the "assembled" bike which was the floor model and the only one left. So my question is why have tags for unopened product on the floor with only a shelf display left ever heard of a shelf display tag??? Would of purchased the display if it was not scratched and training wheel dented. Never did they ask to check stock or order one for us they just gave us the money back and sent us on our way. So I looked online for the bike on there website and it is not even listed on there. Which means that they had new in box tags to bring to the front for a bike that is discontinued and a display that was not marked as the last one. These people here are morons I will never return unfortunately I have to purchase the bike at toys r us because I have a $50 gift card from her birthday to use. Take this as a warning dont even bother shopping at toys r us people are lazy departments understaffed and walmart sells most of the same stuff for cheaper!

I rated this a 4 because most of the associates there are extremely helpful and never stop moving. Ive always had great customer service and I know that when I finally get assistance, I have that associates full attention. My only complaint would be the lines get long and there arent enough associates ringing registers. Working in retail myself, I understand why that is and so thats typically out of control at the store level. You can tell the associates really are doing the best they can with the minimum man power available. Im not sure if this is a pro or con, but there are so many options in every category, that I get a headache trying to decide what merchandise I want to purchase. For me, at least, sometimes too many options can be a bad thing. Either way, I will continue to shop at the Mays Landing, NJ store as long as they have those same associates providing superb customer service to the best of their ability.

During this time of year everyone is running around busy. Even employees do not stop moving. With all of this commotion it is hard to find good customer service and leave any store just as happy as when you went in. On Monday the 22nd of December I ran in to find a few last minute Christmas gifts. Everything I needed was pretty much gone, however I still left feeling saticfied. I was helped by Mario in electronics. He was by far the friendliest employee Ive gotten help from including all the stores Ive shopped in this past month. He took his time the best he could. Explained everything I needed to know about the item. Thank you Toys R Us for your service.

The staff are always very friendly. They will go out of their way to engage and make your child feel special! The aisles are large and the shelves are organized. Clearance items are marked distinctively in red with proper mark downs. I had to return a few items recently and I didnt have any issues. Sign up to be a part of Geoffreys Birthday club; your child will get a balloon and a crown on his or her special day!

No one to ring any purchases up and only 2 people seem to work here. Had to repeatedly ask to have a second employee ring up customers with over 6 ppl in line...then the cashier looked things up on the customer service computer instead of ringing ppl up. Wow. Terrible customer service.
