Ive been buying vehicles for over 30 plus years, and never have i had a more pleasant, efficient, auto buying experience than I recently had with Volkswagen of Freehold. The folks at Volkswagen of Freehold, are compassionate, fair, and honest. From the online chat feature, to the online concierge and appointment setup, they are a first class and state of the art operation. Originally, my search for an auto began locally, and ended with an internet search that led me to this dealership. Trust me when i tell you that my deal was not an easy one. I am very picky and not very trusting. Upon arriving at the dealership i was pleasantly greeted by the manager Jerry Schiavo, who cordially welcomed my wife and I to the dealership, and promptly introduced us to Ronnie Leone, who proved to be the consummate sales professional and a great listener. After a lengthy test drive, I explained to Ronnie that any deal was contingent upon 4 things which included; 1) the right car 2) the right price 3) my daughters approval of the car (she was not with us) 4) and credit approval of my "first time buyer" (no prior credit and limited time on the job) daughter. well needless to say after leaving the dealership at 8pm that evening, my first time buyer daughter was smiling, satisfied and driving out in her new vehicle by 10am the next morning. During the entire process, there was no high pressure sales tactics, nor inflated prices or interest rates. Mr Shahid Querishi handled all of the financing paperwork and had us in and out of the "boring" part of the transaction within minutes, all the while fully explaining everything to us. True team work and superior sales assistance was also provide by the personable Bill Tolles, salesman, who actually worked with Ron Leone to insure that the car was detailed and delivered professionally. All in all, if one anyone is in search of a quality auto, yet afraid of the bait and switch, afraid of potential credit issues, and afraid of being taken advantage of, Id strongly recommend you at least visit these guys. Ill definitely be referring all of my clients, friends and family

This was a BAD experience from start until 3 months later when it was all done. In mid September i was greeted on a busy Saturday by the finance manager Robert Helle. Nice enough guy, but not a good salesperson, probably a mediocore manager too, but regardless, I needed the help. Test drove the Passat TDI SEL, a great car, but they only had cream interiors and I wanted black. He said there were three at other dealers and if I left a deposit he would swap for one. $500 was deposited and the games begun. Two weeks went by, unanswered emails, unanswered voice messages. When I finally got a hold of him, he said that all is well with my order...what? what order?... where is the swapped car I asked. Oh, well we couldnt get one, so you have one on order, it will take 4-6 weeks...well that sucked!. So I waited, sent emails for a status update, left voicemails, again...totally ignored. Called a manager, Michael Clites..again, ignored. To make a long story short, I went to the dealership on a weekday morning in November, told them I cannot wait any longer, want my deposit back. Met with Robert Helle and he tells me, no problem, this version is on backorder, it will take 2-3days for the refund to hit...guess what? after 4 weeks and with me annoying another manager, Dan Malloy, it was processed on 12/14....he was the only guy to call me and respond to emails, he deserves his job, very professional.. The others need a serious performance review or more training, better yet...just dont talk to any humans and stay locked up in your offices. On Dec 3, I was fortunate enough to visit World VW in Neptune, and rode off with a Passat TDI SE with Navi and Sunroof, not the premium version that I wanted, but got lucky...they swapped with another dealer. So, while there seem to be many good feedbacks below, I cannot stand being lied to and ignored, that is the my impression of the culture at Freehold VW.

Truly a dream. Not only am I driving my dream car but it was an Absolutely amazing car buying experience. Purchasing a vehicle is stressful enough so having a team that is for the customer with customer service that blows the competition away makes the purchasing a Vehicle so much easier. I had been at another dealership for most of the afternoon. I had my grandmother with me, who was confused about a few of the amenities of the vehicle as well as the warranty.. the lack of patience of the salesman As well as the finance manager were very apparent. Their lack of respect toward her was enough to make me walk away from a deal... and thank god for that because I wouldve never headed to freehold! My salesman was John, sweetest man ever. I had called him on my way over to let him know EXACTLY what I was looking for. He even met us outside. He Really is for the buyer, not pushy, and actually listens to your needs. Mike the finance manager is outstanding. He really did back flips for me. Getting me into a brand new Tiguan with all the bells and whistles while rolling my current vehicle into a payment I could afford... mind you, I was upside down. He was upfront. Honest. And He was wonderful toward my grandmother, which has her pondering her first VW purchase. Answering all her questions. I did not like the stripe on the exterior of the vehicle, which Mike had removed for me! They even stayed open 2 hours later to complete my deal. I would recommend this dealership to anyone. They become part of your family within just a few minutes of meeting them. I will never purchase a vehicle outside of the DCH family ever again. Thank you John, Mike, Pete, and the rest of the DCH Volkswagen family.

I cannot say enough good things about the experience I had at Volkswagen of Freehold!! Every step of the process was wonderful! I recently purchased a 2010 Volkswagen CC and have NEVER been happier! The sales department was not pushy in anyway and did not waste any of my time. We spoke of the car I was interested in, test drove it and was showed a crystal clear spreadsheet of my payment options based on down payment, interest, length of loan, etc. I then left the dealership to think over my decision (in my past experiences I have always felt trapped in the dealship but not here!) I was able to work with Gerry in the finance department over the phone thus limiting my time there and when I returned my salesman Nick was absolutely amazing!! He allowed me to drive the car again while the paperwork was being drawn up and was overall wonderful to be around! Once in the finance office with Gerry I felt no pressure, I was not rushed in anyway and he took the time to explain everything to me and answered all of my questions! Prior to leaving Nick spent an exorbitant amount of time showing me every feature of my new car and how to work just about everything in it!! Also, when I returned to pick up my plates and mentioned a warning light regarding one of my brake lights a service technician hurried over to find the problem and replaced the light for me! Every staff member in all departments in this place are amazing!! Never in my life has a car buying experience been so pleasing!! I would recommend this dealership to ANYONE and despite how much I LOVE my CC I cant wait to buy from them again in the future!!! Thanks
