Shoppers Beware!!! Dec 22, after lunch, I decided to shop, after paying at the cashier, I decided to buy Korean Fish pancake, which was a few ft. away from their cash registers, while waiting for the guy to make the pancake, someone switched my cart, mine was $109 worth of items, mostly seafood (wild caught), I got only worth $10-15 dollars of items, a bunch of batchoy, a dozen of eggplant, 2 packs of ramien noodles. I was holding my cart all the time, somehow while getting my money from my purse, someone had quickly did the switch, I went to the cashier guy where I paid my items with my receipt & he remembered what I paid for. When we went to the customer service, he was told to just ignore me, that because they did not have any way to find out who took my cart anyway. They did not even offer to check the security camera, did not offer to do any help at all. I offererd to leave my phone number just incase, it was a mistake & someone will return my grocery, I left the supermarket very frustrated & disappointed, not because of what I lost, because the bad treatment I got from their customer service. I drove all the way from Staten Island to shop there, & I even have the supermarket loyalty card. Now, I will never go there anymore & I will give warning to my friends, just incase they will shop there in the future. Lesson I learned from this experience.

originally Korean supermarket, but now they have many Chinese food products to accommodate large number of Chinese people shop there... They got very good sea-food section. and store is very clean. They have a mini food court serves various Korean and Asian food. some food is very good and some are okay, but nothing bad or terrible. parking lot is big but it could get fill up quick during peak hours. some of American food product is over-priced. so skip American food product here and go to shop-rite or stop and shop for American product. overall very good place to shop for Asian food product.

HMart is a Korean supermarket but also sells lots of Chinese vegetables and dried food items. Although their products may be a little higher in price but they are very fresh. Its very organized and clean. Within, there is a small food court with 4 vendors - just so so. The bakery by the entrance is very good. In the same plaza, there is another bigger bakery - Paris Baguette - with more choices. Both on the pricey side, but how many sweet stuffs can you eat, right? Just get some and try.

The local H Mart here in Edison, New Jersey has it all for all your Asian grocery shopping needs! On certain days, H-Mart offers free samples to many food items. Lots of good things to try. The Food court is great because theres a lot of choices you can pick from. Only negative thing I can say for this place, is that because there are so many people coming into the store that parking is such a pain! Weekdays arent that bad but good luck finding parking on the weekends. Enjoy! ;)

This is my favorite supermarket. High quality produce, fish and meats, all at the best prices. The quality of these is much higher than what is found at almost all American supermarkets. Even if you arent an Asian foodie, you will still do very well shopping here. It is also fun to be able to sample (H-Mart samples heavily on weekends) as well as seen so many products normally not available elsewise. There is a large food court inside, with a bakery also available.

The cleanest and most organized Asian grocery place in the area! Theres a large food court (again, kept very clean) offering Korean and Japanese foods. The produce always look fresh. Theres also a marinated meat station for when you want to stock up for your own BBQ. Their prices are marginally higher than the other Asian supermarkets in the area. But I prefer to come here anyways because it looks so neat and organized.

H mart is NOT good for returns. We purchased chicken that had spoiled. We tried to return it but they would not take it back because we did not keep the receipt. The chicken clearly had the H mart label on it. The label clearly indicated we had not passed the sell by date. Lesson learned. Either keep all of your receipts from any Hmart purchases or go some place that will stand by their products. We choose the later.

Here you can find things you dont normally get in an everyday supermarket. It is Korean and Asian focused, but you can also get everyday groceries there. It is not expensive either. The seafood selection is massive. I love going here. At the other Hmart they have more samples if you are interested in those things. Parking could get hectic in this shopping center. Go in off peak hours.

Originally we had planned to go to Picnic Garden for dinner but the price was not worth it for two people. HMart has an awesome food court where you can get Japanese food, Korean Fried Chicken, Chinese food, and Korean food. So much to choose from, free water, and big servings. I got some really spicy soon dubu and aftwerwards we did some shopping. Dont forget your Asian snacks.

Other than this one, the only other H-Mart Ive been to is the one in Cherry Hill. The Cherry Hill location, while nice, cannot compare. The H-Mart in Edison has been clean and well stocked every time Ive visited. They also have a small food court, bakery, and section with beauty supplies/gift shop. The location is quite nice too as its near a lot of local eateries.

Every time Ive Been To H Mart Its Been A Joy......Always Clean And Well Lit....I Always Find Something New To Try....Love When They Have Samples, Great Way To Try New Things....I Only Have One Complaint.....I Like To Go Early But The Fish Market Is Never Ready So I Have To Go There Last And Then There Is A Crowd.....But They Have The Freshest Fish Around.....

This is a good Asian-centric market with a lot of variety. If youre originally from Asia and are missing home in your food, you will find what you need here. There is western products here as well. The food court itself is fine, but with a Korean BBQ, tofu house, hot pot, and a chicken place just outside, its really not needed.

Amazing selection of produce and a multitude of Asian food products you would have a hard time finding elsewhere for the same price. Apart from produce, food products commonly available in run-of-the-mill American grocery stores tend to be overpriced here relative to similar grocery stores in the area.

Ive been here since it just opened and it is one of the best Asian stores Ive been to...ever. You cant get Otoro (belly tuna) that was freshly cut for a very good price. Me and my parents go there for the fresh pork on weekends. It was very crowded, which indicates that this is a great store to shop.

A Korean grocery store with a bigger variety of Asian food and knick-knacks than AFC or Kam Man. Its a good place to find pretty much anything Asian. The grocery sections fine - they have a pretty large selection of stuff. But the food court in my opinion is kind of overpriced and not really great.
