Let me first say that I NEVER write reviews, good or bad, but in this case I absolutely have to. I have dealt with a lot of pawn shops and consignment stores through the years, and NOONE compares to Americo when it comes to getting money back on your valuables! I have had several items appraised multiple times elsewhere, and the offers were never ever close (in some instances Americo even offered me almost double of what the other shops quoted)! I remember a couple of times their offer was so high that I thought there must have been a mistake lol! How many pawn shops can you say that about? I can TRUST THEM 100% and trust is very important in this kind of business. I worked retail for many years myself, so I know what customer service Is supposed to look like, and the employees here are all friendly, informative, helpful, and sincere. They dont act bored or like theyre just punching a clock for a paycheck, they look enthusiastic and very willing to go the extra mile with any customer that comes through the door. My only regret is that I didnt discover them sooner lol. If you have hard times, or just need some extra cash for whatever reason, I personally guarantee that this store will give you the absolute best price on your items! And if you dont believe me, stop in and get an appraisal and then go elsewhere, and I know for a fact that you will definetly be back! I hope this review was helpful for anyone seeking information.

Have come a few times.. Always well taken care of! This last time, the lady went ABOVE N BEYOND to take care of me!! She went as far as to call an electronic specialist (their business partner kinda..) to purchase my items, in order to get me an even BETTER offer, than SHE was already giving me!! I am VERY SATISFIED! GREAT customer service.. I will definately be back, n absolutely would recommend this place to the public! :-) On the flip-side.. In regards to the girl nodding out, TO ME, (having lost my little brother to heroin..), It actually appeared MORE LIKELY, that she may have been adjusting to some kind of medication.. Rather than heroin.. She was very healthy looking, no track marks..and she WAS well spoken, and ALERT enough to buy n sell items to the public, able to use their computer system, AND fully capable of handling these CASH transactions.. Just simply drowsy.. NOT to imply that it seemed professional, just that I dont believe that the business should be ran down.. N even ACCUSED of low-balling customers, to support a hardcore drug habit (that appears to be HIGHLY unlikely..) When IN FACT, They DO pay well, n if they cant. . Will do their best to find a way to get you more money..Anyway.. All the same, BOTH of the women behind the counter, were very helpful, and on point for me, AND any other customers that Ive been around to see.... :-) Thanks Americo! Ill be back. . As will some of my friends too!!

By far the best pawn shop in the area! They give you the most money they can for your merchandise. I wold def recommend this place to anyone looking for a pawn shop. They also have a great staff of employees that go above and beyond to help you out and make you feel comfortable and that your business there is appreciated. Every time i go there as soon as i walk through the door they offer me a bottle of water and a cupcake or snack they put out for their customers. Just a great experience all around theres not one thing negative i can think about they place. The employees are what make they shop one of the best businesses around!!!! A big two thumbs up!!!! If you have never been there before i highly recommend checking it out, you wont regret it. Thank you to all the employees - Greg Latino :)

I want to say that today I had a family emergency and to make a long story short I needed money...I NEEDED MONEY AND FAST....So I was told by a friend to go to AMERICO PAWN to sell some things because THEY ARE THE BEST AROUND ..So I went today 1/2 before closing and KIM was INSIDE AND GRACIOUSLY LET ME IN....WHEN I EXPLAINED MY SITUATION SHE WAS AMAZINGLY CARING...KIND...PROFESSIONAL...INFORMATIVE. ..AND PATIENT...KIM IS A GREAT ASSET TO THIS COMPANY...AND TO BE HONEST IM SORRY I DIDNT GET HER NUMBER SO I COULD BUY HER DINNER OR SOMETHING FOR WHAT AN AMAZING JOB SHE DID...I WILL RECOMMEND AMERICO PAWN & KIM TO EVERYONE !!!! I WILL RETURN WHENEVER I AM IN A JAM AGAIN...GIVE THAT GIRL A BONUS..LOL...THANKS AGAIN KIM ..AND AMERICO PAWN FOR SAVING THE DAY!!!!!

I came here after reading the reviews about Americo Pawn saying they gave the most fair deals and because they 100% match a competitors quote... Nadi, the manager, offered me $500 when William & Son half a mile down the road offered $760.. He wouldnt even budge for 5 minutes even after I mentioned the competitors quote and that they 110% match their quote. It took me telling them that I would leave a bad review for him to offer me the same price William & Son did. I wont come back again. Do your homework. I would not recommend doing business here. They by far do not offer prices even close to their competitors

The girl behind the counter was "nodding" out severly from heroin BOTH times ive been to this shop. She was barely coherent at all and this was very unprofessional being that i had to wait about 25-30 mins for her to do what she had to do in order to serve me completly because she kept falling asleep . Very aggravating. I would recomend NOT coming here as the service was terrible and took forever and also because they give you close to nothing for your valuables so they can make more money for their Drug addicted habit. Big thumbs DOWN! Sorry Americo, get new employees

If i could give them 0 stars I would. This guy keeps his door locked all day. He has a sin on the door that says ring bell for entry but he never anwsers the door. The number on the door and they give you on here is not to the store so there is now way of evening calling this guy.
