This place has TONS of stuff. I go to this store often because its on my way from work. I always find something I need here. They have a separate building next door with (mostly 80s) furniture. That being said, they do price things a bit much sometimes, especially after the remodel last year. Some things are actual antiques and are priced as such. Other things are just high priced for no apparent reason. I will say, however, that the arbitrary pricing has leveled off since the one volunteer left, so Im guessing she may have been the culprit. I have actually bought several antiques here for fair market prices. My only real gripe about this place is how they mark prices on things. Most things are written on with permanent marker, whether they are antique or not, thereby ruining a bit of the value and leaving you with a permanent price on your item. The other foolish thing they do is to packing tape the ever-loving heck out of everything in a box. Case in point, I once saw a beautiful mint condition 1950s electric razor WITH its original box. This thrift store used packing tape 360 degrees all over the box and taped on a little price sticker. so much for the value and vintage look of the box. And then they still had it priced to the value of a mint condition razor in a mint condition box.

Destiny CDC adheres closely to our Policy. These policies are signed by our customers. Unfortunately sometimes customers, even though they have signed our Policy guidelines, ask us to break policy, which we do not do and then they write an unfavorable report. Sometimes customers threaten bodily harm to us, sometimes customers get verbally abusive and tell staff to "shut up", sometimes customers, without regard for others safety, drive recklessly off our property because we did not break our Policy. Sometimes customers mistakenly think we "hold" furniture and that they have claim to it, but unless you actually pay for that furniture, we do not hold. We DO NOT ever sell anything that someone else has PAID for unless, according to our policy, it has been "abandoned". There are actually times that customers call us and let us know they are unable to pick up furniture, and they re-donate to us for resale. Again, unfortunately, when people dont get their way, they write unfavorable information about us. Know that we are doing the best we can to serve our Community and we adhere by the Policies set in place.

Extremely disrespectful and verbally abusive to my sister. Exclaiming that we dont understand frustration when a loved one committed suicide from military trauma. Extremely uncalled for unprofessional and disgusting. I am not from this area and I am not used to people having such low self respect and respect for others. To be treated in such manner I would strongly suggest that you not go here. It is a thrift store for the food bank. I suggest just donating to the food bank instead of having to be belittled by grown men and women with no self accountablilty. If you buy something from there take it that day! They cannot be trusted to have it left there or they will resell to someone else who will take it out of there way sooner.. This is a "Christian" thrift store... well where Im from we dont call that Christian thats just mean and we will no longer be customers there.

Amazing store with amazing deals... I am a single mother of 3 boys and this thrift store has helped me out tremendously getting them and myself stuff I could never have bought full price at a department store yet still getting the same quality. The staff go above and beyond to help the community and make sure you have a great shopping experience . I love shopping there because I know that ALL the money I spend goes directly to the food pantry feeding thousands of people per month.. I have shopped at alot of thrift stores and this one by far is the cleanest. I would recommend to anyone..

Rip off alert. These so called Christians only have profit on their minds. Inflated prices on furniture that you could get elsewhere for half the cost. Today I happened to be there with a friend. Take your chances on craigslist or go to an agency that actually cares about people. Habitat for Humanity or something. These people should be ashamed.

I bought a home about a year ago. So many of my items were from this store! I highly recommend anyone looking to do some home shopping with low prices! Plus they have a boat load of clothes and other goodies to offer! I donate many of my items here and I am glad it is helping to feed those in need! Plus its a tax write off!!! A+ in my book!

Destiny only offers quality items. They have a bit of everything for everyone. If you need furniture, housewares, clothing, toys, books, paintings or pocketbooks; look here first. The prices are more than reasonable and they always have one sale or another.

The people working here are nice. Some of the pricing is uneven, Most stuff way over-priced, other stuff, a bit more reasonable. A lot of stuff in this store, worth a look.

I just like browsing thrift shops. Some have better things than others. It all depends on what your looking for.
