I just adore choices! So glad there is another choice for organic, natural and healthy food stores. Cant say I am a huge fan of the location. HINT HINT to corporate I and many others would like to see a organic health food type of store in the Sparks area. What a delightful, energetic, charismatic store. Something about the lighting in this store is uplifting. I so love all the choices and the lay out. All the employees I met were kind, gracious and amicable. I ended up asking several employees where things were. They were all courteous, jovial and learning themselves where everything was. But all of the employees were more than happy to help you find the item you are looking for. I was pleasantly pleased to see the prices and choices on the majority of their items. IMHO the items were cheaper than at other retailers in our area. My kids are allergic to dairy so it was fun to see the huge variety of dairy free milks (such as cashew milk) , ice creams (mint chocolate chip) and yogurts (coconut milk and almond milk). There is also a large selection of Gluten free items, homeopathic medicines, essential oils and Bach Floral Remedies. Not only do they have fresh ginger but they have fresh Turmeric!! YAY!! We purchased carob, fresh Turmeric and ginger, Cacao Nibs, Mulberries and Rescue Remedy by BFR (Bach Floral Remedies) and other items. I really liked our cashier I think her name was Jade. She was kind and had a rosy personality. The store is clean and the environment uplifting. I will definitely be back!! Thanks to all the employees who made our transactions at this store so delightful!!

Natural Grocers is on par with Whole Foods and the Great Basin Community Food Co Op. Their produce selection is organic and about 90% grown in the USA. Their meat selection is a little lacking but what they do have comes from ranches and from what I can tell is all humane. Natural grocers is a company that cares about the products they sell. Not just the consumables but EVERYTHING. The aluminum foil they sell is recycled, so are the trash bags I purchased. I have found for my personal shopping needs that Natural Grocers is a great place for the non perishables, meat and dairy. Dairy! They have the full range of Organic Valley products and they are cheaper than every other store in town! The produce is hit or miss and I opt to shop local for that (GBCFC) anyway. The prices are cheaper than Whole Feeds and the Co Op, and right on par with Trader Joes. Although their selection kicks TJs ass. My only complaint is that the lay out of the store really doesnt make a whole lot of sense. So yeah, overall this place is awesome.

Not impressed with this grocery store. Its one plus is that it carries lots of good-quality (albeit expensive) organic products, especially the supplements if youre into that sort of thing. But the prices in many cases are definitely not lower than other grocers, including the infamous Whole Foods/Paycheck. Example: a large bottle of apple juice here costs just under $11. I can get the same thing at Whole Foods for about $6. The produce section was disappointingly meager. Also, I noticed they seem to carry more brands of aloe vera than BBQ sauce. That alone should tell you what kind of store this is. You can do better than this place in my opinion.

Best all-in-one selection and prices for natural foods and organic products in the entire Eastern Sierra - from Bishop to Reno. I dont typically purchase their vitamins, so cant compare. Only better deals are selected products from Trader Joes and Costco (Reno/Carson City area), but those businesses dont have the rounded selection as does Natural Grocers.

THE best prices for certified foods in Reno. All of their produce is certified organic, where other "organic" grocers sell GMO and pesticide covered produce. The prices are almost half of the local competitors. Highly recommend!
