I noticed the other negative comment was from another Black woman. I honestly believe the fat white cashier is racist. I was returning a book within the 30 days because we had only used it 2x in class & my professor said we wouldnt actually need it for the rest of the semester. Even though it was within 30 days she wouldnt give me a full refund. She said because I used it I could only get a partial refund. When I first rented the textbook they gave me a really long receipt with all of their rules for return. Nowhere on the receipt does it say you can only get your money back if you didnt actually read any of the material in the book. So since I opened this book twice, I was not eligible for a full refund. Whats worse is I know this was a personal decision she made. Her register doesnt actually have a function for "partial refund" so she entered it manually. There is a lot of ethnic diversity at CSN. It is not okay for RentText to have hired a racist to represent them.

This is a horrible company to try to do business with. DO NOT rent from this company!!! They will take your money and rip you off! Was wrongfully charged $170 for a book. & when I requested a refund AFTER THEY HAD THE BOOK IN THEIR POSSESSION, they said I could pay them $6 to have the book shipped back to me or they could pay the current value of the book which is $20! This was after I was told by a customer service rep that they would refund me my money after the book was received. Now I dont have the book nor do I have the money for the book. Somehow the buyout price for the book was $138 2 weeks ago when they automatically charged my debit card, but now the book is only worth $20. This is a warning to other college students. Dont ever rent anything from them. Rent through your school or through Amazon.

Went here to buy a text book for my wife but it was way more expensive than I thought it would be. I had heard this place was cheaper. Anyway, they were really pushing me to buy it then and there instead of going to the CSN bookstore to compare. They insisted they were cheaper. Im not that gullible. I went to the CSN bookstore and the book was $60 cheaper at CSN! Same edition and everything. Who knows, it may have been a one-time thing, but I sure dont plan on ever going back. To their credit they were friendly and I didnt have to wait in line. The CSN line took an hour...

This is the best place for textbooks in town. They have the best prices and flexible payments and will price match if you ever find a better deal. The one downside is that the staff seem to get overwhelmed on peak weekends and it becomes a struggle to get checked out quickly.

Website states that they will respond to email regarding selling a book to them. It has been five days later and I havent heard anything. I just called and no one answered , and there was no voicemail. #unprofessional

Employees are very friendly and useful. They can help you with any question you might have. You can rent or buy used or new textbook. And they are reasonably cheaper than the book at the College bookstore.

I always get my books here. Checked CSN bookstore last semester first before purchasing them here, at a much reduced price. Customer service is great! The buyback prices are sub par though.
