STARBUCKS: This review is strictly on my experience with STARBUCKS located in this B&N location. The person taking orders did not look pleased with being there. I would not have noticed this but Im also in the service industry mostly hotels. She took my name like all other starbucks but it was not used to call my order, at all. My name was not used for my drink. I had to wait for my sandwich to be prepared which was over cooked when I got it making the bread rubbery and hard to eat. The part of my visit that prompted me to write this review was that my order sat on the counter for ? amount of time, when I asked about it I was told the order was placed on the order counter and my name was called. I was at the pick up counter where we all know to go for our orders??? My sandwich was at the pick-up counter when I went up to ask about it. Who trains this staff? Maybe the staff that day is not ready to work with the public. The response I got from both employees when I asked about my order was snide and unprofessional. I never thought Id see someone at this capacity act with such entitlement. P.S. This B&N is beautiful inside and out. Its located near everything. I found a book here that I needed for a Business course I was taking. I will use this location for any hard copy publications in the future, but Ill probably pass on Starbucks here, Jamba Juice is just across from there in the food court, yum! GO Gators!!!

Been going to this barnes and noble location for 9 years! Favorite spot to enjoy skinny mochas and swedish detective books. Love the selection of various international books and magazines. Please dont stop ordering Glamour UK and V magazine! Also staff is awesome! The baristas at the starbucks are always so efficient and so lovely! Also always recommending desserts and even can make customized drinks ( a.k.a secret menu drinks) Another helpful tip : i collect hard copy coffee table books and whenever a book isnt in stock; the staff are always willing to help you order it! Picked up two books i was not able to get a hold of ( even amazon) ! :)

Barnes and Noble in palm desert, ca . I have been shopping for all books here vs online to help out the community. Today I had such a horrible experience. I was attempting to buy 4 coffee mugs that were on the 75% off section with a "red dot" which meant 75% off item. Matt refused to give me the discount because an employee should not have placed the item there with the stickers. I am so disappointed that they would not honor the discount after the all the mugs had been labeled that way.

Im so thankful to have this book store--its an excellent store for used media, new stationary. In addition to books of all genres, ranging from childrens to cookbooks, they have music and movies for those of us who like our old school wares.

I am a B&N fan boy so I have nothing bad to say about this business. Great products, nice staff, good coffee and a relaxed atmosphere. I wish there were dozens more of them in the US.

Their selection on animals in general was terrible and very skimpy, did not find a single book on snakes or reptiles in general. Id have had much more luck at a library.
