We just barely moved to Henderson, NV and desperately needed some furniture for our home but werent interested in paying a lot of money. We went into Salvation Army and were immediately impressed with the selection of furniture available. The sales representative on the day we went (a Wednesday) was kind and informed us of all the latest deals. We found two matching side tables, another good side table, and a nice living room table to put in front of our couch. We took the tags off all of them and checked out. They were a bit pricier than expected, the $30 living room table I would rather have paid $20 for...but it was still a good deal to my husband and I and after a week we are more than satisfied with our purchase! The guys in the store will bring your furniture to the loading dock but they will not load your furniture for you which I thought was silly but it was a good thing nothing was too heavy my husband and I couldnt fit. Now relatives come over and exclaim "how much did you pay for everything?!" And we tell them we got our items at Salvation Army and they are impressed. Thank you Salvation Army for your assistance!

All items are second-hand as should be expected in a Salvation Army store. The store layout is open, organized and uncluttered. There can be hidden gems if you are flexible and patient in your search around the store. For the most part, furniture is over-priced. For example, I saw a simple wooden book shelf for $39.99. An identical new one is available for about $20 in local department stores. Most of the larger furniture is tagged at about $100 over what youd expect. A small but decent book selection is displayed. Many are priced at $1, even the hardbacks. These are bargains if you find a title or author you like. Housewares, knicknacks and odds & ends are neatly shelved, making it interesting to browse the store. The employees are not attentive and seem to lack people skills. Customer service is not a priority here, so dont expect it. But I like the store because you just never know what you may find.

Saludos este lugar de ropa de segunda mano tiene buenos especiales,no es un sitio acogedor,el personal no es amigable.las personas que trabajan aquí se ve que trabajan porque no tienen otro remedio.,se ven con caras amargadas y solo se te acercan para ver qué estás haciendo.mi opinión no vuelvo aquí, aunque tengan buenos especiales para mi el buen trato es primero.

Cant complain when i bought a 40 dollar computer that worked with no problems except it needed a OS, they didnt even know what they were holding which is good for me :) but yet i see a crappy ass computer and they want 120 dollars for it, come on. But whatever i like the store im there about once every 2 weeks because you never know what your going to come across

Store is great. Prices are great. Inside people are ok. Both guys who accept donations in the back of the store have the personality of a rock. A car full of donations and not even a thank you. No have a nice day. No smile. No eye contact. NOTHING! The only words he uttered.... "want a receipt?" Really? Not even a complete sentence. Rude.

The customer service is horrible! I tried asking 3 different people for assistance with a large item and I was ignored or asked to wait for another person. I waited for 10 minutes and no ever came. When I went to find someone I spoke to the manager and let me say she was probably the worst. She said we dont offer assistance.

Wow great store most helpful employees was looking for dining room table and Melissa helped me so much I ended up buying table and chairs and 2 tvs not to mention the washer dryer and stereo I bought 2 days later..I appreciate her customer service and am a loyal customer as long as she is there to help me

PROS.....Love this place lots of good bargains, furniture is pretty nice, lots of neat stuff will definitely be back CONS...u dont know what the daily bargains are unless u go in would like to have a weekly flyer of the deals so Im not missing out, All in all this place is GREAT !!

Furniture is a good price considering it is all second hand. I dont really come here to look at clothes because it is a bit overwhelming and not easy to find the right sizes. Overall, I like the store and I appreciate what Salvation Army does for the community.

I dont know who has the power of the pricing gun over there, but couches with stains for 600$, kitchen tables with paint stains for 400$, and other way over priced items. Better off going to the goodwill across the street for furniture.

Good store. Not at the level of savers around the corner but its ok. I have found some good items esp. Shoes in the past but nothing in the last 6 months. Timing and diligence are the key along with a little luck.

I go there alot and LOVE it!!! They always seem to have very nice clothes when i go and its even better when its a $2 clothes day. The cashiers are terrific and Melissa is the best. I highly recommend it, highly.

Great thrifts store for browsing, but whats better is the donation bay around the back. Very convenient to drop off large loads of donation good. Much easier than a bin in some parking lot.

I never find anything good here, but their furniture, if I ever needed more, is Hugh quality. Friendly staff, but they never ever budge on prices.
