I am extremely disappointed with Element Tattoo. The only reason I gave this shop one star on this review is because I wanted too write a review. I read the reviews for all of the piercing/tattoo shops in Bozeman and Element seemed like a very good shop to go too. The workers were nice however, they do not know how to properly care for a triple helix piercing according to the two other shops I have had to visit, because I have had a tremendous amount of problems with my new piercings I just got done. I am a very clean person and took very good care of my piercings so that they would not get infected. The woman that pierced me gave me a piece of paper saying to stop using the saline solution on my earrings after a week and to not twist them, because that will just be messing with them and preventing them to heal sooner. Well that was wrong! I now have two seriously infected and embedded piercings out of the three in my cartilage. I tried to give Element another chance, but they would not call me back or pick up their phone. I left a message explaining my problem to them. What did I get? No call back! All of the other piercing shops I called and had to visit told me that this happened because it is very IMPORTANT to clean your new cartilage piercings for at LEAST 6 MONTHS!!! You are supposed to twist them to prevent the embedding from happening. Not to mention the fact that the earrings were two short for my cartilage thickness in the first place. I cannot believe how bad this shop is. They really sound like they know what they are doing and that is misleading. Even though I am not a piercer I know more than them about the aftercare of a cartilage piercing, because I have had to visit other shops and do SO MUCH research to fix the mess this shop has lead me too. They set me and anyone else they pierce up for infection! I will never recommend them to anyone. Unreal.

I cant say enough about Megan and Element Tattoo. I decided last minute that I wanted my tattoo that day and she had me in the chair and out the door in 30 minutes with EXACTLY what I wanted. Im not from Bozeman, so I came to Element after stopping at a parlor rated higher on Google-- but this should be your first and only stop. Cant thank her enough for listening and giving me the tattoo that I was told wasnt possible by the previous parlor-- its absolutely perfect and has healed wonderfully. Thank you!

I was extremely pleased with my experience at element tattoo! The women were friendly and professional while providing a comforting atmosphere, and Megan was incredibly willing to ensure that my tattoo was exactly what I wanted! The end result was beyond anything I could have imagined. Overall it was such an enjoyable experience and I would recommend element to anyone looking to get a high quality tattoo.

I came in and set an appointment time for my tattoo. They called me and moved me back half an hour, which I was okay with. I came in at the moved time and they still were not ready. In no way were they apologetic, friendly, or inviting. I did not feel welcome or comfortable in their hands and ended up canceling my tattoo all together. I would not recomend this parlor on account of the rude staff.

None of the staff was very welcoming. All seemed irritated to be there. Super rough on my tongue when I went in to get it pierced. The woman who did my piercing was more interested in what food they were ordering than what she was doing with my tongue. The piercing itself was crooked and in the end got infected. 0/10 not going here again. Waste of time and money

Ive been going too Element Tattoo for my body art needs as long as I can remember. I got my nose pierced there when I was 15. And I also went for my first tattoo and never left. I have 6 tattoos now, each and everyone as beautiful as the next! Megan Halvorson does a fantastic job. Everyone in the shop is nice and welcoming as well! I wouldnt go anywhere else. ❤️

Had a nose piercing done, staff was welcoming and made the entire process comfortable. The gentlemen who did the piercing explained each step thoroughly and told me what to expect throughout the process. The care & healing instructions were clear and concise, and they highlight whats relevant to you. I will definitely recommend them in the future.

Kimri is an outstanding artist, loves her customers and really puts some amazing work on you. Never had a bad experience with her (even after canceling multiple appointments), shes still wonderful to work with! Plus, the atmosphere at the place is great... youre the only one getting tattooed in the room. Best place in Bozeman, hands down!

Megan is an absolute gem and she makes you feel completely comfortable while shes tattooing you. Every time I walk in she recognizes me and asked me about everything we talked about in our last session. Kiri does amazing work! I received a piercing from her two years ago and it was fantastic! I went back on new years to get a tattoo with my roommate and the artist did a decent job on mine, but my roommate isnt pleased. Ill definitely add myself to the waiting list for Kimri next time.

They are very friendly here! I have 4 tattoos and my experience here was definitely a great one! They made my friend, who was getting her first tattoo, feel comfortable and more at ease. Its very clean and has a very comfortable feel! I would definitely recommend this tattoo parlor!

Got a piercing done here. Prices are reasonable, piercer is experienced (placement is good, good advice for healing the piercing, etc). Great vibe in this place, everyone is welcomed here.
