Brought in my car for an alignment, but they snapped off the bolts for the control arms. So $300 on my bill for new control arms and a few days wait. Then they put them on upside down. (Unfortunately they fit this way, who knew) Afterwards anytime youd hit a bump the whole frame of the car bottomed out on the control arm and cut in to the subframe. Took the car back with an exploded diagram of the suspension and told them they put them on upside down and put them on right. Owner didnt seem to want to deal with me at that point and passed me off to his kid. The owners son, Matt I believe, told me he had "THREE of his best mechanics" look at the car and I was wrong and the control arms were on right side up. This is even as I am showing him the picture of the correct way and you can see the curve of the control arm. After arguing they insist they will not even bolt up the other way because they will hit the halfshafts. Finally they give in, and what do you know, they dont hit anything, they are on correct and they dont hit the frame anymore. At that point even though they had the control arms off they didnt want to realign the car(you know the alignment I went in there for in the first place and had paid for) because they "marked the bolts before they took the control arms off. Im sorry you messed up my suspension, never admitted you were wrong and now you dont even want to do a realignment after the whole weight of the car has been crushing the control arms because you marked the bolts right before you took them off? I went there because my father had used them all his life and they are nice sure enough. I guess if thats what you need go for it. However I am not car dumb like most and do more work on cars then 99% of the people out there. (I was only there because I dont own an alignment rack) From my experience I guess I am to understand that I know more then their "THREE top mechanics"....... So Riechers if you ever want to admit you were wrong, because no one would man up afterwards when what you had said wouldnt work just 30 mins prior, fit perfectly, drop me a line. lance_gt AT hotmail DOT com

I brought my car in for a tune up. I was already aware that I had a cylinder misfire. I told them I only wanted them to tune it up. Kevin at the desk was immediately trying to claim that the spark plugs may not be the problem. I advised that I only wanted a tune up and then we could go from there. He then told me that they would get it in at 7:30 the next morning (Saturday). I waited until 10 am to call them. I spoke to Kevin again and he said that he told me Monday and not Saturday. He again told me that I would probably need more work than just the tune up. How would he know that?? I told him to put the key in my car so I could pick it up and he continued to argue with me about the amount of work my car needed. These guys are shady. Also I have reason to believe that the one positive review on here was written by them. There isnt one specific example of how they provided excellent service... Strongly consider looking elsewhere for auto service.

Last week a friend and I were the crew for our husbands participating in the MR340 river race. We were pulling a camper – travel trailer and had noticed the left tire was looking low. We had just resupplied our guys at the river in Washington, MO and were desperately looking for a place to air up the tire. We found Riechers and told the guys of our situation and they were fantastic! It ended up we needed the spare put on because the tire was damaged and they charged a very small amount for this service. We were very grateful and relieved and were on our way in a matter of minutes. Great customer service is rare these days and so Im always delighted when its offered!

Riechers is hands-down the best place to take a vehicle for routine maintenance and repair and tires. They know their stuff and always answer questions honestly. They are experienced enough in a smallish community to know that good reputations are earned over time but can be lost in a moment. They are professional, courteous and provide great service extras like a ride home, locally, if you drop off a vehicle for service. I also appreciate that they will tell you if it might be an extra day before they can get to something. So many places will overpromise and underdeliver, Riechers does not play that game, in my experience.

I take all of our vehicles to Riechers for everything! They have always been upfront and honest on pricing and what needs to be done. Most recently my car needed rear brakes. Riechers special ordered them for me and when going to put them on, they called me and told me that I didnt need them yet. I would not need them for approximately 15-20k more miles. They could have easily put them on not worried about me and my best interest but they did. I appreciate that they always look out for me. They are honest, dedicated, hard working individuals that appreciate local customers, such as myself.

Dont go to these guys, they have no idea what theyre doing. I found out for a FACT theyre charging way too much money. They didnt fix my car, I had to take it somewhere else and have it repaired correctly after they screwed it up. Ive heard many other people whove had similar complaints about these clowns. Stay away from Riechers!!!!!

Kevin and Brian and all the other guys couldnt be nicer or more helpful. Brian went through my old receipts and found warranty info on my starter and battery! And this was after l had tried looking myself. They have done more extensive work on my old Nissan and brought it back to life. My auto repair shop in Washington!

Riechers service does a great job, and they know what they are doing. They give advice on only what needs to be repaired. Riechers prices are reasonable, and they are prompt in scheduling and taking care of repairs. Regular maintenance at Riechers saves money and helps make vehicles last longer.

If they tell you that you dont need an appointment be prepared to wait forever....actually, be prepared to wait forever anyway. Southpoint location has free coffee. They do pretty good work if you can get their attention.
