Went to store on 1/13/2014 in the afternoon to buy a particular fabric. I would say they were slightly busy at the cutting table...certainly not overwhelmed. I waited an exceptionally long time to finally get my turn. The employees seemed to be moving in slow motion. I needed two pieces of the same fabric...one piece 2-1/2 yards and one piece 3 yards. The person behind the counter said...I cant do that. Excuse me??? She would only make ONE cut on the same bolt of fabric. Its not that I couldnt think of several ways around this, but I really needed to get home, so I settled for one long piece. Even more annoying was the fact that the employee next to her was cutting multiple small pieces of the SAME fabric for someone. Next she told me that since I had one of those "smart phones" I could look up their coupon and get a percentage off this purchase because it wasnt on sale. OK...thank you. Nothing on the bolt of fabric indicated it was on sale, nothing on the rack where it was located indicated it was on sale either, so assuming the salesperson was accurate, I looked up the coupon. When I got to the checkout...where there was no line...the person rang it up and informed me it was on sale. Really???...for how much? Instead of $14.99 yd., it was $13.99 yard; therefore, I couldnt use the coupon. I inquired how she knew it was on sale. She said it was on the receipt after she rang it up. Hmmmm...how would I have known that prior to checking out. My purchase was between $90-$100, AND I have to find a long flat place to lay it out so I can measure it and cut it. Your store is set up to do that. Overall, not one person I encountered was helpful, or worked at a reasonable speed, or seemed to know much of anything about what they were doing.

As the name suggest they carry both craft supplies and fabrics. I went there looking for needles and bobbers for a sewing machine. They have a limited selection of these types of items. When I got to the front to check out, I found out I had to pay for the needles at the area I found them. This small area is owned separately from Jo-Ann, so I had to check out there. Wish they had a sign telling me this. The person who rang me out was more interested in carrying on a conversation with someone about food than she was about ringing someone out.

Ive been shopping here for three years and I am always greeted with a smile and a "hello." The sewing staff is knowledgeable and friendly even when they are super busy. The store carries a lot of fleece, which I dont use a lot of, but somebody must. I can find the cottons I need for my dolls and the coupons are terrific for saving on all the stuffing I use. I shop at other stores for specialty products I need, but I find most of what I need and like here.

I usually buy beads here and not fabric, but they have a great supply of beads and have some decent sales. The only thing that bothers me is the crazy long lines! It can be quiet one minute and then there is a line to the door. I think they may need a few more people at the counter from time to time since there are often empty registers.

The store is nice and they send you a lot of coupons when you join their text list. The prices for most things are pretty high unless you use one of those coupons. The employees arent the friendliest people though. I wouldnt say they are rude but they arent extra nice. They have an amazing stock of material for sewing projects.

Nice craft store located near Mid Rivers Mall and Costco. The prices are a little higher than competitors, but as a result they typically have more in stock than Michaels or Hobby Lobby. On several occasions I have been able to find seasonal items at this location when it seems like every other store is sold out.

This store is great. It always has interesting craft material and books. I always find what Im looking for. Every cashier Ive had was super nice. I have encountered some people who werent very nice, some of the people who cut fabric, but they could have just been having a rough day.

I went in here to find some double-sided tape. It was so crowded. I couldnt find an employee that was available to help me. It took me a while to find the tape because through store is huge and sells a lot of supplies. But I finally found it and it was priced fairly cheap.

Love their selection in textiles. Dont go during a sale it will be extremely busy and full. If you getting something cut make sure you get your ticket as soon as you get in the store, specially during the weekends. It will reduce your waiting time.

So my girlfriend was just in this store to get stuff for work. So apparently no one can do there job. And the manager tells people its his first day. Glad u people r open . Lol and thanks for wasting her time . Which was over and hour

The store is bright, spacious and well stocked. The employees are friendly and helpful. Unlike other hobby stores that also carry some sewing stuff this is primarily a sewing store that also carries some hobby stuff.

They need more help at the cutting counter. I waited 45 minutes for 1.5yds. of braiding and then another 15 minutes at the checkout. I wish we had a competitor nearby. I think that would motivate them to get more help.

This is my favorite Jo-Anns because of its size, well-organized selection, and convenient location! Just dont shop without coupons! Download the app while shopping. Only thing I dont like are the outdated bathrooms.

Love the fabric selections. But have to be careful with the coupons. They seem to have everything on sale when they have the 50% off. But sometimes you can find things to use the coupons for, just be careful.

Love the variety they have of products especially fabrics! The help i receive is really good too especially from the Abby Sewing Center! They are a huge help! I also love the chocolate they sell up front!

I love Joanns, but I do find that there if often quite a long wait time to get cuts of fabric. I wish they had more people working on that at any given time so the wait wouldnt have to be so long.

Good products and selection. Depending on when you go in, you can get great help. If they are busy, all the clerks are tied to tables with no one to help a customer foundering in the aisles.

My wife loves this place. Some of the staff can be grouchy, but I think it I would go crazy too if I had to stare at fabric all day.
