Went mid day on a Saturday. Lady working the counter had no idea what she was doing while taking my order and had to ask for assistance. Not sure if she was new or not because she was too focused on trying to figure out how to work a computer than say anything. Took around 20 minute to get a chicken and cheese quesadilla even though there wasnt anyone else ordering food. Food was alright. Place looked really busy from a distance because there were a ton of bikes sitting around outside but turns out it was used bikes for sale so that was kind of weird. There was one specific short haired blonde girl that was really helpful and very friendly. She helped the clueless lady along during ordering and was probably the sole reason we got an order in and the only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of one. She also worked the front end shop. I would find somewhere else to go next time instead of going back because the place was really unorganized and chaotic.... And slow.

Those 2 words dont always go together! Friend & I read about Bike Stop in the Community News and decided to try the food. We have opposite tastes but both of us think our food was great! Friend loved her turkey/mozzarella on grilled wheat. I never tasted a better wrap than "Lewis & Clark!" Mine was not secured by a limp tortilla, but in a toasted honey wheat wrap. Filling was lettuces, tomato, avocado, black olives, red onion and pesto. Oh, and the gooey butter cake was "to die for." They will repair your bike / pump up your tires while you wait. They also have a 2-3 mile easy bike ride Saturdays at 7:30 a.m. More rides are in the planning stage. Think I might start riding again! Anne

I have my own bike shop in another town. I enjoy going to this shop, not for bicycle stuff, I can get my own. But for the convenience of riding down at the trail and to stop in and eat their Tuna melt, I hant gotten past those yet, Yum. People are nice there, and the Owner is knowledgeable about bicycle riding and has rides going out from the bike Shop Cafe. He and others at the shop, help people for what they need for riding and not for just the shops needs. Rental bikes available, repairs for your bike and sell new bikes and product as well. I am getting hungry to ride and eat there as I write this.

After getting a few cookies at Grandma’s (just down the block and across the street) I was craving a hot cocoa and had walked by this place earlier so decided to stop in. The hot cocoa itself wasn’t anything to write home about - it was just Hershey’s chocolate syrup with foamed milk - but while waiting in line I also noticed their “famous” peanut butter balls so decided to try those as well - which were delicious. I saw that Yelp had a special for two peanut butter balls with any purchase, but felt a bit weird about asking for them since I was going to buy them anyways.

I am so happy that my boyfriend and I stumbled across this place. The food is incredible and mind you, healthy. The coffee is great too! I now work right down the street from them and it is always my go to on my coffee runs! I always have great service and everyone is very friendly. I always recommend this cute little hidden secret. Its a great environment whether youre wanting to relax and drink some coffee or even hang out with a friend. I love this place. Love love love.

Great service, very friendly and helpful. We came in to get our old bike worked on so we could go for a family ride on the Katy. The man who helped us (I think he was the owner) was very nice. Our bike was going to take a while to get serviced because he had to order a part, so he let us use a rental bike that day. Then we came back for lunch. I had the tuna melt, it was yummy. What a great way to spend the day!

I love what these guys are doing. Going for natural, local, whole foods where possible, buying from farmers markets and produce co-ops. Make for some very tasty sandwiches. And it helps that they are into the biking scene too. How cool is that. Prices are a little on the high side, but not unreasonable. Definitely worth checking out. Cameron

Great breakfast wraps, very pet friendly, nice atmosphere, and good prices. They did make one of our coffees hot instead of iced (they offered to remake it but I just took it anyways) and it took a bit for the food to arrive even though there werent many people. I would probably go again, but not if I had somewhere to be afterwards.

If I could give zero I would. I waited 30 minutes for my sandwich it took so long I had to get it to go. When I got it my order was wrong I got a cheese and tomato sandwich and they didnt even put the tomato. All they said was I dont know what happened. Didnt even apologize. Never going back

My girls and I love going to the Bike Stop Cafe for breakfast. The food is very good and the service is top notch. We always feel welcome and comfortable. They also rent bikes which is fun since the Katy Trail is right next to them. St. Charles is a lucky to have them here.

Great place to stop and refuel during an outing on the StC riverfront, whether on bike or feet. Great to kick your feet up under an umbrella and cool off. Awesome sandwiches, most of which are on the lighter side and satisfying. Peanut Butter Balls are a must-try!

This place is awesome, good food, coffee and beers, perfect for your before or after ride session. Need any bike advise or repair, ask the good old Tony, hes always willing to help you, unless hes busy shredding with friends

Great place to rent a bike on an early sunday morning. You can ride the Katy trail (goes for over 200 hundred miles). Gravel/dirt trail. Bring plenty of liquids. Nice staff. You can get a snack and coffee when you return.

This was a nice surprise to find. Just a couple miles from home. Great food. Good coffee. And they can tune my bike up for me. Love the couple that run the place and highly recommend you stop.
