Homophobia-- I overheard the black women who works as a cashier there talking to the customer at the front of the line. He asked where the queer one was. The cashier told him loudly that he wasnt working there any longer and that she and her boss were very happy about that. She then yelled loudly for her boss and once he acknowledged her, she yelled, here is another one that thinks just like us about them funny kind of people and he is glad that one aint here no more. The black man smiled his pleasure before backing off and heading back to work. The 2 customers in front of me and the one behind me were flabbergasted. My little bit of money wont put them out of business but I do have the choice of where to spend.

Its Dollar Tree so the expectations here can not be very high, and yes, I will continue to shop at Dollar Tree in general for the handful of things that they do well. With that being said I find this location more than a little frustrating. There are rarely carts available, and if they are, its because theyre broken. They seem to be constantly understaffed and understocked. The store seems to be in utter chaos all of the time. I have been to this location during various hours of day and evening and there has never once failed to be a stack of boxes in practically every aisle. The Dollar Tree on Troost seems to have their act together a little bit better.

This store works in a pinch but there are always boxes of merchandise all over the floor and the staff is completely split down the middle between awesome/rude. The parking lot is a little tough to get through sometimes because people drive through a little crazy and it’s hard to exit if someone is turning right because it’s a busy street. But we all have that arts and craft project where you need small plastic containers or a table cloth and this place shines when it comes to last minute and quick.

Trip hazard in front of the frozen food coolers, woefully understaffed, poorly managed, however there is a decent selection of frozen food as long as you are careful not to catch your toe on the metal trim separating the tile flooring from the carpet on the far right in front of the freezers.

I realize that stores can get a lil overwhelmed during the holidays, but this place looked like a tornado went thru the store. Shelves were in complete disarray and the staff leaves something to be desired. Not the friendliest Dollar Tree Ive been to thats for sure.

Glad that they are open til 10, 9 on Sundays. Wish they were able to keep their shelves stocked & had more selections. Best thing is they carry FRESH SARA LEE PRODUCTS (at least 3 different types of bread, sweet rolls, muffins, & doughnuts)

A week after Christmas the shelves were not stocked. This is a very busy area, diverse group of patrons, and the business is situated in a trendy spot; on any given day they should be more prepared.

Bread, milk, eggs, tea; they cant keep everything stocked because theyre a Dollar Tree but they carry everything they can and have the nicest employees! Oh, they also have good books sometimes.

You can always find a great deal. No doubt you cannot beat paying a dollar for everything in there. The last time i was in there boxes were in the way. It makes it frustrating.
