I dont expect that anyone from the Dierberg family or corporate office will read and or respond to this, but felt compelled to share anyway. My husband and I are a military family and recently moved to the St. Louis area from Jacksonville FL due to his orders. About 3 weeks ago I needed to send off a package via UPS and knew from driving around that there was a UPS store attached to the Dierbergs on Lindenburg in the Hazelwood Florrisant area. I had a list of groceries that I also needed to get so I figured while I was there Id pick go ahead them up. I went and gathered my groceries in my cart, which included a bottle of wine and went to the checkout. I always put any alcoholic beverages I may be purchasing at the end of the belt when unloading my groceries to give myself time to get my ID. Im 35 but look much younger so I never question it when Im asked for my ID. So the cashier rings me up and gets to the wine and of course asked for my ID and I promptly gave her my DL. She tells me that since its out of State she has to get approval which I understand, but it was taking the manager a minute to come over to the register so I pull out my Military ID and hand it to her and say here you can just use this ID instead since its military it shouldnt need approval, but she ignores my statement and insists she still needs approval Instead of taking the birth date that was obviously the same on both forms of ID. The manager finally comes over to the register and I try and hand him my military ID since my out of state DL cant be taken at face value, instead of looking at my military ID...which obviously isnt fake he proceeds to pull out his book of State licenses to check my DL against the photo in the book. I wouldnt be upset if that had been the only ID I provided but the fact I had given not only the cashier but the also the manager two IDs one if which was military...I took his checking my DL as and insult. After I provide you two forms of ID and you still proceed in that manner youre no longer questioning my age, youre questioning my integrity which was not only embarrassing but extremely disrespectful. So to make a long story short that was my first ever and last ever trip to shop at Dierbergs. I cant constitute spending my and my husbands hard earned money in an establishment that treats military families in such a disrespectful manner. Shame on you Dierbergs...learn to respect people instead of demeaning them, military families have a hard enough time getting established in a new place without people doing things to make it even more frustrating and difficult

I used the coinstar to get excess change out of my purse...shorted me $5, got that straighten out. Purchased a a big salad from the salad bar cost $10.55! somehow and the cottage cheese is EXTREMELY ROTTEN and edamame is also slimy and turned, so entirely inedible. So I call and Im very polite about it they say that I probably left it in the car too long, I explain that I live half a mile away and ate it immediately, she then asked me if Ive ever had cottage cheese before and thats just how it tastes....i eat it almost every day. I explained that it should be removed before they get someone sick and that Id be back to return it in a few and was told make sure I havent eaten too much of it if I want my full $11 back...umm WTF of course I didnt eat the extremely rotten food you ignorant, rude MF... and screw Schnucks for their horrible treatment of employees so....i guess ShopnSave gets my money now...

Everytime I come to this stupid store only for change for my job...everyone who works at the customer service center have poor customer service skills...they act like customers woke them up to come too work.... will never come here because how Im set up my mouth dont have a end button... cant take another smart mouth..im starting to think they dont like black people in this store.

Every time I have my baby with me (in car seat, in the cart) they happily get me another cart for my groceries without me asking. I love the extra help out to my car. Theyll put my groceries in my car while I take care of my kids. I am on my way in a fraction of the time it would take me to do it on my own:)

I fell very misinformed because the Natural Rotisserie Chicken does have added Salt that is injected and I was told when I brought it that it did not have any added SALT but today found out that the nutritional chart said over 680 ml for 4 oz and that is NOT NATURAL and would like my money back now.

Not the place to come if you want to use coupons. They arent coupon friendly and dont inform you before check out you can only use 3 coupons per day if they are for the same brand no matter if theyre different items & different coupons. Way to lose customers Dierbergs!

They pander to the police by offering them their own personal convenient parking spot, yet no parking for expecting mothers who actually need it. Im sure its too much to ask that our public servants are treated the same as every other able bodied customer.

I walked in this morning walked up to a lady putting out fresh salads was rude.. I spoke and she didnt speak back, and acted as if I was in her way!! Also, the cashier in self check never said good morning nor thank you!!! Im very disappointed

They have most every brand available and multiple choices for each type of product. They have a wonderful deli, economy Isle, meat and fish department. The staff is always helpful and the lines are always quick with self check out too.

The young ladies in the deli are very lazy and have a bad attitude they make it seem like the customers are getting on their nerves and they show their attitudes if we didnt come there to spend money how would they receive a pay check.

Dierbergs has great deals just like any other store plus its in walking distance from where I live. Ive been shopping here for 5 years now. When something works well for you, you dont go and change it you stick with it

Everyone is very hopeful here and they have the rocket ship carts for my kids. The some checkouts are always working so I can always get in and out quickly even if Im only getting a couple of items.

Enjoy the fresh and wide variety for fresh fruit and vegetables, the meat selection very well organized. The deli area foods are very tasty and the staff is wonderful.
