OMG! The Schnucks. Awesome. Wish you had cheese at the cheese counter under 10$ a lb, though. Tis okay. One likes their Stilton under 25$ and more a lb. Quite some mark up, there, on cheese. You walk in, like the Schnucks family gives you a hug. You raid their fridge and pantry with all the delish noms, and on your way. Though getting into and out of the parking lot is a bother. Near the much less expensive ALDI. ALSI is okay. I go there, also You have great fresh meats. I mean, they have Turkey thighs year round. Excellent for the big batch soup you have for luncheon at work should you do the bring your own. (You folks do make your own soup, sometimes, yeah?) Yet far better than the way over-fancy Dierbergs to the East on the same side of good old Manchester. That Dierbergs is so fancy. Belongs in some haute neighborhood of Tiburon in Marin County, CA that Dierbergs. Loves St. Louis. Loves Manchester. Hugs to everyone and everywhere. Loves the Schnucks and the Gooey Butter Cake and a bakery stollen (Norther German pastry treat) and some coffee. Good dairy section. A large store.

The store is awesome. If you cant find it here, you dont really need it. The low rating is for the dining area. Dirty tables and counter, orders messed up, people waiting WAY TOO LONG for very good food. The prep staff just dont know how to handle multiple orders. The chef needs to run the kitchen, not have to do everything. Good luck, the food is excellent. I ate the meals in a row here and saw the same chaos with the different crews. Breakfast today was great, considering me people and a failed computer system that required written orders. Wow, that really gummed up the works. Good luck management, they need help.

Coming from the land of Wegmans, grocery stores in the St. Louis area are already at a disadvantage, but this Schnucks stands out as a great place to shop. The cheese selection is great, with very knowledgeable and helpful staff! On their recommendation I picked up a *very* stinky and delicious Italian soft cheese that went over like gangbusters at a get together. Their produce section is very comprehensive and really cuts down on the mulit-trip grocery shopping trips. Although I havent had their prepared food yet, Im looking forward to trying a lunch in their dedicated seating area upstairs.

Fantastic Schnucks, they offer free cooking classes. Wine tasting & corking, dining area, mezzanine with couches & fireplace. This definately does not feel like a Schnucks, I could spend hours in here, the bad side is, I dont feel like I am getting any great deals and the same stuff and other schnucks is less expensive. Overall, you can probably find most speciatly items that your other stores may not ever carry in-stock. A large variety of meats, cheeses & wine. Seems like they are finally competing with Whole Foods. Watch for over priced items though.

Where to begin!? The largest schnucks its like the mega store, the cheese, wine, produce and overall selection is quite amazing! Brunch here on the weekend for 2 is always going to be less than $25 and that covered two meals and maybe a third :)! I like this location because its clean and Dailey well organized. Its also perfect for a meeting or doing a little work outside of the home office. The upstairs gallery area is a great spot to get away from all the traffic on the main level. They also have a fantastic cooking school here!! :) just saying..

This Is Even Stephen. He is a talented performer, who play all over the St. Louis area. At Schnucks Des Peres there is live music every Friday and Saturday evening. The menu is medium priced and well rounded. If you dont see what you like on the menu you have the entire store to choose from. For $5.00 they will cook a steak you purchased from the meat counter ( or fish or whatever) for $8.00 it includes two sides ( like salad and veggies). Come down to Des Peres and enjoy this unique grocery store and the friendly people who frequent there.

My family nicknames this store; "The 1% Schnucks". This location has a huge store with a prepared food bar that runs the wall of one side of the store. It has everything hot and ready to go, from BBQ pulled pork to Sushi. The selection of items is close to the same as other Schnucks, but this one also had extras like a mini cafe area. My family and I have spent many nights shopping at the mall and then coming to Schnucks and eating dinner from the excellent cooking staff there in the cafe.

Excellent restaurant inside the grocery store. Schnucks has both a sit-down restaurant and the bistro. This is not the old Schnucks Station restaurant, But A New Concept thats been there a number of years now with the tables simply interspersed in the produce section in one area as well as the mezzanine level. Schnucks DesPeres also features alcohol and live entertainment at this location on certain nights for those into such things.

This is the fanciest Schnucks Ive ever been to, perhaps the fanciest of any grocery store. A lot of stores have a fancy section. This whole store is the fancy section. It seems like an old person thing to do to eat dinner inside a grocery store, but weve totally done it. Then again, we are both over 30 now and have a kid. The food and table service are legit. Also, they have high quality options for prepared food/take out.

Horrible experience here. My 15 year old daughter was a victim of a sexual predator that is employed at this location. His name is Tylus Mister he works nights usually. Really hate he works at this location close to my house. So had to find another location to shop. This man Tylus Mister is a Pedophile he goes after underage girls that comes to this location. Or anywhere near him. Not to be trusted very munipulative!

Excellent atmosphere, great Schnucks prices and a very friendly, helpful, clean staff. My wife and I both enjoy visiting this location when we are in the area. It is much more than a grocery store, with cooking classes, mezzanine with a flat-panel TV and couches, fresh food court area and even live entertainment every once in a while. A all-around great experience.

Purchased 2 gallons of spoiled milk brought them back to the store and they refused to exchange them because they were open....so how do you know that the milk is spoiled before you open it. Management response is that it is illegal to give away milk....how is it giving away anything if I bring you the bad product back to exchange for good product

Love this place everything is ao fresh and I love the pre made food. Im putting a review up because I had a lady help me out by checking if there were certain stocks in a soup. Her name was nicole and she was in the deli area. I know it can be tedious but she gladly looked it up for me and was very friendly. Always good stuff here.

They have great food live music sometimes summer cooking classes bakery grocery store phatmaci and live sea food littley they have a tank a lobster also a cheese parlor so when we do not want to cook we go to schuncks to get fresh cooked vatities of food including a salad bar
