4 reviews Jeff S. Chicago, IL 5.0 star rating 4/17/2015 Been looking for an SRX with the older body style as not to keen on the bulkiness of the newer ones. Found a few online in various states which I did not want to buy one in Chicago (Where I am at) because of the salt they use on the roads. Narrowed it down to the top 2 (one being Cornerstone). I called and spoke with James and what a pleasure he was to work with. Always was available and called back. Also talked to Chris, who picked my friend up at the airport, and again was pleased with their customer service level. Their SRX was a little more then the other one but what sold me on going with them was the customer service and detail that they took in making sure this was the right car. I asked James if he could take it to the Cad dealer there for another inspection (they do their own there) but I wanted a peace of mind since I was buying a car without driving it and only seeing pictures of it. James was not offended and agreed. The Cad dealer called me back saying that it was a great car and all looked good. My friend flew in and was met by Chris at the airport (on his day off mind you), and drove him to the lot to meet with Chris. My friend called me after he left Cornerstone and would not stop bragging about the car. He said that I was going to be real pleased and when he arrived in Chicago, I truly was. It was a 2008 so there was some minor scratches but very minimal and I could tell the owners took really good care of this SRX. Also, the car was soooo clean that the inside smelled and looked like a brand new car. Over all, the staff at Cornerstone was WONDERFUL to work with. James and Chris were so helpful and really made me feel at ease with buying a car physical site unseen. Only had the car for 2 days and drives like a dream. I would highly recommend them and when I am looking for a second car (which might be real soon), I hope to buy from them again. We bought a impala from there n the next day we had to bring it back check engine light came and tighten cap came on.Then it started acting up power engine reduce light kept coming on so we took it to the shop couldnt get it fixed so we had to take it to them it took 7 days n still wasnt fixed we have warrenty on the car and only can go to them bt was told we can go anywhere. We had to get it fixed on our own

Bought a car from these people, financing was agreed upon, we drove away happy, they called us and said that our interest rate was going to change. We disagreed, brought the car back, then they charged us hundreds for driving the car for the days we had it!! WHAT?!?! The employees are dishonest and typical shady car salesman. Steer clear!

You are quoted one price but the 3 times we have used this place, it was almost 300 to 400 more. The only reason we used Cornerstone the last time was because the transmission they put in 30 days prior gave out and had to be replaced. They also keep your car forever, I think putting more expensive jobs ahead of yours.
